What Is The CHASE? THE CHASE is a trail race where you aren't just racing the clock. You're being hunted. Every runner wears a CHASE bib with a tear tag. A few minutes after the gun goes off, the CLAW is released onto the course. The CLAW's only job is to catch you and take your tag.​ Cross the finish line with your tag still on your bib and you've ESCAPED THE CLAW. Lose it on the trail and you've been CLAWED.​ This isn't just about speed. It's about pacing, strategy, and how badly you want to keep looking over your shoulder. Go out too hard and you'll fade. Go out too easy and the CLAW will be right behind you.​ Choose the 5K for a short, all-out sprint from the CLAW, or the 15K for a longer hunt where the CLAW has more time to close the gap. HOW IT WORKS Every runner gets a unique CHASE bib with a tear tag. The race starts. You get a 5-minute head start. ​ The CLAW is released and chases runners on course. If the CLAW catches you, they take your tear tag. Finish your distance. If your tag is intact, you ESCAPED. If it's gone, you've been CLAWED. How much of a head start do I get? Everyone gets a 5-minute head start before the CLAW is released. How fast is the CLAW? Fast enough. You'll find out on race day. Is there more than one CLAW? There will be one CLAW for every 150 runners, and one CLAW for each distance. Can I hide my tag? No. Your tag must be visible on the back of your bib at all times. Covering or hiding your tag is an automatic disqualification. Is the race timed? Yes. Every race is timed. 1st place male and female in each distance is decided by finish time, not by whether you ESCAPE the CLAW. Are these trail races or road? THE CHASE is on trail terrain: dirt, rocks, roots, and elevation. Sometimes there's some pavement and gravel too. Can I walk? Yes. But the CLAW won't be walking. Are there aid stations? Yes. It's time to Go Short, Go Long, Go Very Long! Our annual 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 50K is back again, make sure you register early! All courses are along the paved Riverparks Trail system in Tulsa, and are very flat with the exception of one hill that is encountered once on the half marathon course and twice on the 50k course. Grab your sweetheart and join us at Santa Fe square (located at 2nd and Frankfort) in Downtown Tulsa on Saturday, February 13, 2027, for the Sweetheart Run! Participants can choose from the 5K or Fun Run in downtown Tulsa. When registering, you have the option to sign up as a couples team for the 5K. This requires a minimum of two people. If you choose to register as a team, both runners will compete in the race individually, but at the end of the event, we will combine your finish times to create a team time. The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy hopes you join us for the 14th annual Adrenaline Run 5K/10K! The 9th annual spring half marathon plus 5k starts and finishes in downtown Tulsa.  The half marathon includes several miles along the banks of the beautiful Arkansas River.   Each year the finisher medal for the T-Town Half will feature iconic downtown Tulsa architecture. The first medal for the 2018 event was the top of the 1930's era Blue Dome building. The 2019 medal featured the top of the iconic art deco Philtower Building. We serve the most disadvantaged residents of our community, many of whom live on little to no income. Every step you take with us helps provide warm meals, stable shelter and vital resources to our vulnerable friends. The 11th annual Golden Driller Marathon will be held on April 18, 2026. The Golden Driller marathon includes a race distance for all levels from 5k to marathon!  All races will be held on the very nice paved trails of Tulsa's Riverparks system along the banks of the Arkansas River.  The race gets it's name from the iconic Golden Driller statue located at EXPO Square in Tulsa.  For more details on this Tulsa icon visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Driller.   Each participant will receive a tech shirt with their entry, as well as a great custom finisher medal that features the Golden Driller.  This race is known for it's small size and friendly nature, as well as great post race food and beer for those 21 and over.  This is a great smaller marathon or half for those who want to avoid the crush of giant big city races.   The course is flat and fast, with the exception of one hill that appears on the marathon course.  All other courses are flat.  On-site parking at the

The '89er 5K is hosted by the cadets in the '89er Battalion, Guthrie High School JROTC. The Guthrie JROTC program is the first JROTC program in the State of Oklahoma, dating back to 1935. As a 5K, we encourage competitive runners, recreational runners, and walkers; walk your dog, push a stroller, or simply enjoy the fellowship of your friends and neighbors. This is a community event hosted by the students in JROTC. Run proceeds support educational and leadership training opportunities for the students in JROTC.    This year's '89er day race theme is BOOMTOWN, celebrating Guthrie's legendary boom - from 10 to 10,000 in one day. Information US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish.
