Marmon Valley Farm is hosting the Horseshoe Hill Climb 5K, 10K and 20K trail run on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 9am to raise money that will help kids come to summer horse camp. These funds make it possible for children from economically challenged families to attend camp and helps in sustaining other areas necessary for the ministry. Many of the trails throughout Marmon Valley's 500 acres are bridle trails, farm lanes, and open meadows providing a fantastic trail running experience! The trails and terrain at Marmon Valley are ideal for trail racers who are looking for a challenging run. Whatever distance chosen, you will traverse through hardwood forest, up and down ravine trails, around fields, across creeks, and along scenic overlooks. None of the trails are paved and all may be muddy! The 5k and 10k each have their own course and the 20k course is laid out as a 10k loop. On Saturday, November 7th, the Carrollton Rotary Club will be hosting our 5th annual 5k race at the Carroll County Fairgrounds! Events include a 5K race or walk, a 1 mile race or walk, music, and tables with representatives from local organizations. 1-Miler begins at 8:45 and the 5K begins at the completion of the 1-miler at approximately 9 AM. Registration is $30 for adults and $10 for students in the 5k. Kids running the mile are $5. Online registration ends on Thursday, November 5th, at which time the fee increases to $35 for adults.

This is a celebration of everything that makes Norwood a true gem! Join your neighbors on November 7, 2026 to run or walk through some of our favorite streets in the beautiful presidential district of Norwood. Sponsorships help fund the race, along with improvements across Norwood Park System. To date, we've donated nearly $105K and hope to raise over $50K this year to increase community impact. 100% of proceeds will always go back to municipal needs and initiatives that benefit the community, with a focus on Norwood parks. Gem of the Highlands 5K first project was $16,000 to the basketball court restoration at Waterworks Park. As a completely volunteer-led organization, we will continue to focus our proceeds and donations on improving Norwood parks again this year. Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the 3rd annual Memorial 3.1-mile (5K) run and 1-mile walk in honor of the legacy of Dr. John (Jack) O'Handley. Affectionately known as "Dr. O", Jack was the Medical Director of the Mount Carmel Street Medicine program for 25+ years, where he was a beloved physician, teacher, mentor, and friend to all. Dr. O was known by his patients to be a compassionate, loving, and gentle doctor, who loved a good corny joke. Dr. O practiced what he preached in living a very healthy lifestyle. He ran a 5K nearly every weekend with fellow colleagues, students, and friends, inspiring many to lead a more active life. The Street Medicine program provides no-cost medical care to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. The mobile medical coach is accessible at nine locations across central Ohio and provides urgent care services for acute illness, infections, wounds, and unmanaged chronic disorders. Patients can also receive assistance with social needs such as food resources, specialty appointments, and connection to primary care. Three days a week, medical teams take to the streets, literally, bringing medical care to individuals living outside. The Street Medicine program has been in operation for forty years, reducing access barriers for those who are underserved. The Street Medicine program logs over 4,000 patient encounters annually. Proceeds from the race will support medical care provided in the community on behalf of the Street Medicine program. On the day of the race, the Street Medicine team will be collecting needed items that can be given a new life with patients. Good condition hoodies, athletic pants, and tennis shoes are needed for both men and women. Those bringing items to donate will be entered into a raffle drawing.

Join us on Saturday, November 7th for the inaugural Race for Virtue 5K at the Westerville Sports Complex to benefit Columbus Classical Academy (CCA). CCA is a private classical school in central Ohio, serving grades K-11, adding a grade each year through grade twelve. CCA is a Hillsdale College Curriculum School, a distinction that offers our school access to a tried-and-true K-12 Curriculum from the Hillsdale College K-12 Education Office. Do you have a little one aged 6 or under looking to participate in the day's festivities, but not interested in doing the full 5K? The Kids Run taking place before the 5K at 8:30AM is a great option for you! Starting and finishing at the arch, Kids Runners will run 100m out, turn around, and come on back to the finish, fully visible for the entirety of the race. Parents and guardians, feel free to join your kiddo as needed, but know that event registration is limited to kids age 6 and under. Run for Wreaths is a 5K Fun Run/Walk through East Harbor State Park. This 5K will benefit the Ottawa County Wreath Committee in bringing Wreaths Across America to the final resting place of our county veterans.

Join the River City Runners & Walkers Club as we host our 6th annual Broughton 5 Mile Trail Race at the Broughton Nature Park in Marietta, OH! This is a true trail race that will take advantage of the beautiful wooded trails beginning at the Broughton Complex and take runners on a tour of the Marietta wilderness. The race will begin in the grass near the bike path and start with the Orange Loop course going up-hill. The course will then merge with the Red Loop and continue on that trail through the rest of the race making a full 5 mile loop back to the start line. While the course is challenging, the terrain levels off after the first mile. The course will be properly marked with a water stations around the 1 mile and 2.5 mile marks. Packet pick-up begins in the pavilion near the start line at 7:00 AM and race begins at 9:00 AM. The course has a 2-1/2 hour time limit. All participants will receive a race shirt and awards will be given to top 3 male and top 3 female and top 2 in each 10-year age group in walk and run. Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00 AM.

Join us for the 1st annual Ohio (Cleveland Area) SCADaddle to raise money for much-needed SCAD research. Participants are invited to participate in the 5K walk/run at their own pace on the paved pathways and wooded trails at Longwood Park in Macedonia, Ohio. Our Cause Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood type of heart attack. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms. Most patients are younger healthy women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options. SCADaddle 5k Our 5K chip timed run/walk takes place at Longwood Park in Macedonia, Ohio. The 5K course runs through and around the park on a varied terrain of paved pathways and wooded trails. Opening Ceremony kicks off at 9:30 am. The run begins at 10:00 am and all participants will be timed. Following the race, join us for refreshments, vendors, our SCAD store & fun for all. Awards: All runners and walkers will be timed. All finishers will receive a medal. Awards will be given to the top three (3) overall male and female and the top male and top female in each of the following age categories: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Registration will open on April 1, 2026! Indoor Triathlon Swim 10 Minutes in 25 yard pool (4 feet depth)Bike 30 Minutes on stationary cycle Run 20 Minutes on treadmill. The combined time for the swim, bike and run is 60 minutes, plus two transitions. The first transition between the swim and bike is ten minutes and the second transition between the bike to run is five minutes. Each heat will have a maximum of 6 participants. Three lanes of the pool will be used, with two swimmers in each lane.  After completing the swim segment participants will have a 10 minute transition time to change and move to the cycle room for the bike segment. The run segment is upstairs using the treadmills. Each participant will have 10 minutes for the swim, 30 minutes on the bike, and 20 minutes for the run, with the allotted transitions between activities.
