Baskin, LA
We are the "oldest race in town"! And we are excitedly planning our third consecutive year in north Franklin parish in the town of Baskin on Sat., 5/16/26. We thought this year would be an excellent "warm up" to the Run for the Red, White, and Blue the very next weekend in Monroe. As you may know, last year's race was a charity benefit for Tracey Ready's breast cancer battle. We lost Tracey this side of heaven less than 2 months later. We want to honor her memory by funding a memorial scholarship in her name AND purchasing Bibles to distribute to local detention centers in need.  Our race this year follows the same, flat and fast route through Baskin, LA. We will have snacks and drinks for participants, and encourage spectators to come visit with us as well. We have Top Male and Top Female awards and age group medals. We also will do something NEW this year by having Top 20 finisher medals! Those that register BY noon on May 1st will receive an event t-shirt! We

And now—it’s time for Year Three. Whether you’re a seasoned r
