The LUM Turkey Trot 5K Run is open to runners of all ages and abilities and welcomes runners, walkers, dogs, strollers, wagons, turkey hats and more. The Turkey Trot 5K convenes at the Connection Point Church in West Lafayette and follows the Cattail Trail Loop — which is completely flat and paved and allows participants to run on a scenic route through the Celery Bog nature area on a crisp November morning. What better way to start the day's festivities than with a short run/walk. When you run the Gobble Gallop 5K, you support our Annual Campaign, which ensures that all ages can experience the benefits of Y membership, including health, fitness and education. In 2024 we were able to give over $401,571 in financial assistance to our Westside Community. The Hendricks Regional Health YMCA strives to make a difference in the lives of people in our community every day. The Gobble Gallop 5k is our largest fundraising event for our Annual Campaign. This past year, the donations we received towards our Annual Campaign helped provide over $401,571 in financial assistance to qualifying Westside families. We were able to provide children with the opportunity to attend preschool, take swim lessons, and play in our youth sports leagues. We would never be able to reach that goal without the help of community members like you. Join us this Thanksgiving and help us give back to our Westside community!

Chapman Lake, located in Warsaw, IN is hosting their annual Gobble Wobble 5k on Thanksgiving Day. This growing race welcomed over 250 runners in 2025. This is a chip timed race. Early registration fee is $30. Registration fee increases to $35 on November 1st. The registration fee for kids 12 & under is $20. The race will start promptly at 8:30am. The race course begins & ends at the Chapman Lakes Conservation Clubhouse. This beautiful race course takes you along the east side of Chapman Lake. Due to limited parking, carpooling is strongly encouraged. Guaranteed finisher medal for all runners. 10th Annual Terre Haute Turkey Trot November 23rd, 2023 Come run, walk, and feed the hungry at the Terre Haute Turkey Trot! The Terre Haute Turkey Trot is a fun family friendly 5k race and 1 mile fun run near Downtown Terre Haute. Partial proceeds and all canned foods will be given to our local soup kitchens and food pantries so that they can help feed the hungry! So come burn the calories before you settle down for those delicious Thanksgiving meals and help those less fortunate than yourself have a great meal on Thanksgiving. We will deliver all donations to our local charities after the race.

Join us for the 12th Annual Becky’s Place Run for Hope 5K. All ages and fitness levels are welcome! The race will start and finish in Downtown Bedford at the Downtown Depot. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with music, friends, family, and snacks before and after the race at the start/finish line and during your time on the course. Race time is limited to 1 1⁄2 hours. The event supports the local Food Finders Food Bank through donations and is a great way to kick off your Thanksgiving weekend festivities! On Thanksgiving Day, we give thanks to God for all that we have; we also spend time thinking about and praying for those who have less. Everybody wants to help those in need on Thanksgiving Day; here is a way to do just that! All Saints Parish coordinates an offering of donations and in-person run/walk for the Sunman, North Dearborn, and East Central High School Food Pantries who are tremendous providers of food to the needy in Dearborn and Ripley County. Let’s help them help others- all the profits of this run/walk benefit these local food pantries.

Fishers YMCA Wishbone 5K The Wishbone 5K Run/Walk is an annual Thanksgiving event for the entire community. This year we’re celebrating 16 years of families coming together for a morning of fitness and fun. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome along the route but, in the interest of safety, we ask that these participants start near the back of their corrals. Why Participate? The Wishbone 5K is the Fishers YMCA’s signature event for the Annual Campaign, which helps to subsidize memberships, programs, summer camp and before/after school care. 16th Annual Rainbow Lake 5k run/walk brought to you by S.A.W. (South Adams Wrestling) Day of registration and check-in will begin at 8:00am Race will begin at 10:00am with awards & soup lunch to follow. This race is part of the Adams County 5K Series Challenge and is the last stop of the year. The run is chipped timed with water stations on the course. Race starts downtown Geneva, south of the fire station, down railroad street, around Rainbow Lake, and returns to finish south of the fire station.

Run the 5K, then take a leisurely lap through the lights — or simply enjoy the walk. We’d love to have you experience the magic of Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights while supporting Easterseals! Parking Please park in the lot next to Bosse Field or in the overflow parking area across the street on Heidelbach Avenue.No parking is permitted inside Garvin Park. Course The Bright Lights 5K is approximately 2.88 miles and consists of three loops around Garvin Park, taking you through the beautiful Ritzy’s Fantasy of Lights display! Start: The race begins just off Morgan Avenue, inside Garvin Park, at the corner of Main Street and Morgan Avenue. Head toward the seven lighted trees, turn right, and follow the light show route. The course loops around the back of the park, passing by all of the lighted attractions. Continue past the fountain area to begin your second lap. Repeat the course until you have passed the fountain area three times. Finish: After completing your third lap, take a sharp right at the seven lighted trees and head back toward the Main Street and Morgan Avenue starting point. 🏅 Medals will be awarded to the first finishers! For 5K Walkers If you are participating in the 5K as a walker, please maintain a pace that allows you to complete the course within one hour. Please also be mindful of runners and allow them to pass safely. If you would prefer to take your time, enjoy the lights, or stop for photos, we encourage you to complete the 5K and then take another lap or two during the Bright Lights Walk at 6:30 p.m. Your 5K registration includes the 1-Mile Walk at no additional cost! Awards Overall Male and Female winners will be recognized. Outrun Krampus: The Sunset 5K Challenge Brace yourself for a unique, twilight 5K cross country race. We're setting the course on the beautiful Pike Red Devil XC Course, a hidden slice of nature tucked behind Eastbrook Elementary in the heart of Indianapolis. The challenge? The run begins just before sundown. Your mission is simple: Beat the setting sun and outpace Krampus's "season's beatings" to the finish line. It's a fun, challenging dash against the approaching darkness!

REINDEER ROMP 5K/8K Walk or Run Our longest running event!  For over 20 years we have been romping through the State Park.   Start and Finish at the Nature Center.  Run is all on the road.
