Start your Thanksgiving with a 5K! The 5K begins and finishes at Walsh Intermediate School. The course is flat & fast traveling through Branford’s scenic Route 146 and Pine Orchard Golf Course. The event features pre- and post-race party! Before you begin your Thanksgiving Day meal, enjoy kids activities, music, chowder and more.  Kids Race: 9am, 5K: 9:10am, NEW  2 Mile Walk: 9:12am The event benefits the Branford Rotary Club and the Soundview Family YMCA.

A Thanksgiving tradition featuring 5 km and 1 mile courses running through beautiful Rowayton CT. Race Day Instructions Race Location/ Start: The race starts at 9 AM in front of the Rowayton Community Center, 33 Highland Ave. With another record turnout this year we advise everyone to be there at least 15 minutes early. Parking: Parking is at Graham Capital, across the street from the Community Center at 40 Highland Ave.,or Rowayton Elementary, just down the hill from the Community Center Map Here Start Procedure: Please do not crowd the start. Once again, we will have chip transponders at the start that should pick up your time when you cross the start, so you get an official start to finish ("chip") time. So no need to rush to the start once the horn is blown. Also, those in the 1-Mile should line up at the back of the pack to allow the 5K runners sufficient room to begin their run. Race Day Registration: All race day registration is being done electronically. Please register here on your computer or phone. There is no guarantee of same-day bib pickup (see below) but you can run without a bib if you are registered, however you will not receive a time. Race Day Bib Pick Up: We do not guarantee race day packet pickup. The earlier you get there the more likely you are to get your bib. Bib pickup opens at 7:45 AM. If you have registered, you are free to run without a bib, however you will not receive a time. 1 Mile runners do not need bibs, but there are vanity #1 bibs if wanted. We strongly suggest picking up your bib during one of our early check-in sessions. You can of course pick up bibs for friends and family as well. Early Bib Pick Up: We strongly encourage you to avoid the race day crush by checking in early. We will hold three sessions, Saturday November 21st, 10 AM to noon at the Rowayton Community Center and on Tuesday and Wednesday the 24th and 25th, from 3 to 6 PM at Connecticut Running Company, Brook Street, Darien.

The Boys & Girls Club Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot and Fun Run is a Ridgefield Thanksgiving tradition. Join us in celebrating our 45th Annual Turkey Trot! We are extremely proud to say we have been part of Ridgefield's Thanksgiving tradition for 44 years. It truly would not be Thanksgiving in Ridgefield without the Boys & Girls Club Turkey Trot, and we wouldn't have it any other way! The 48th annual Lenny & Joe's Madison Turkey Trot, organized and run by the Madison Jaycees, will be held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 10 am! Once again, the 5 mile race and 2 mile walk are in the heart of Madison, CT. Starting and ending on the historic Madison Town Green, both the run and walk courses feature scenic views of Long Island Sound and some of Madison's most picturesque shoreline neighborhoods. Thanksgiving Day O'BRiley 5K Turkey Trot in Historic Collinsville Each year, the O'BRiley Turkey Trot donates its proceeds to a national charity as well as a local charity, each of which supports causes that have touched the lives of people in our community. This year, we are proud to be raising money for Connecticut Children's and the Canton Food Bank. 100% of the proceeds, after covering the cost of T-shirts and race supplies, will be donated to Connecticut Children's and the Canton Food Bank. Santa Made Me Do It! is a 5K road race, 2 mile walk and 1/4-mile kids fun run on December 5, 2026 in Bethlehem, CT. This race is organized by The First Mile and will be held in conjunction with the Bethlehem Christmastown Festival. Location and parking The race starts in front of the Memorial Hall on the Bethlehem Town Green. Parking will be at the Bethlehem Fair Grounds, 384 Main St North, Bethlehem, CT. Shuttle buses will bring runners and spectators to the Town Green beginning at 8:30 AM. The shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day, so runners and their families can stay after the race and check out the festival. There will NOT be parking available at the Green and the road will be closed to traffic. Runners may also be dropped off at the Green. My daughter Mia was six years old when she passed away in March 2017, after a 364-day fight with childhood cancer. The three words she lived by — Make It Amazing — became our motto. I've run a marathon almost every year since 2008 — through starting as a husband, then a new father, then my mother's cancer diagnosis, through losing Mia, and through my own lung cancer diagnosis in December 2021. Marathon #20 isn't a new chapter. It's the next one. Frosty Goes 5k Off Road Santa says you could win this!!! Join us for the FROSTY 5K on December 19, Saturday, with a start time of 10 AM. This exciting frosty 5k run takes place at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to 'get off the road' and onto the trails with nature. Celebrate the beginning of a New Year by participating in the 41st annual Frosty 5K New Year's Day race hosted by the Guilford Rotary Club. The course will take you past many iconic sights in this celebrated coastal New England town - the green, marina, and fairgrounds. Packet pick up day of race will be at the Nathanael B. Greene Community Center,  32 Church St, Guilford as will post race awards, and refreshments, including hot clam chowder! The race starts and finished on the Guilford Green. This is a hand timed, club run through beautiful Barkhamsted, CT.  It starts at Matthies Grove Parking area, People's State Forest, 106 East River Road 06063.  The course consists of rolling hills that meander along the Farmington River, outbound on East River Rd, left on Rte 20 through Riverton center, and inbound on West River Road. The race is entirely on roads.  If you are finished after the first lap (8.5 miles) proceed to the finish table and provide your name to the timer.  If you're up for 17 miles  (corrected distance), continue on for another lap when you reach Mathies Grove again.  At the conclusion of the second lap, proceed to the finish and make sure to provide the timer with your name.  Timed results will be published here on Runsignup. ................WE NEED VOLUNTEERS...See link below. The proceeds and donations of this event fund scholarships given to Milford High School Seniors, donations to local charities, and allow us to host the Kid's Track Summer Series! This is a free weekly track meet for kids hosted by the Milford Road Runners. The Milford Road Runners is a 501(c)(3) organization.

Join us for an epic 7.8 mile loop of picturesque Lake Waramaug - this annual winter tradition attracts hundreds of area runners. Powered by a team of more than 75 volunteers, we're committed to delivering a fantastic experience for all participants and to raising both awareness and money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We've donated over $57,000 to date and we're running towards our next milestone of surpassing $100,000 in total donations.

The flat 5K course runs travels starts and finishes in front of the historic New Haven Rock and Roll venue Toad’s Place. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day after the race at Toad’s Place with an exciting awards ceremony, costume contest, live music, food, beverages and beer for 21+! NEW COURSE--This run starts and finishes at the Simsbury Farms Park in Simsbury CT. This public facility is located in the west end of Simsbury in a residential area. The course begins and ends in the parking lot and is all roads through local neighborhoods with minimal traffic. All roads will be open. The many small "rolling hills" have a total elevation of 159ft. It will be well marked with course monitors at key intersections. This is a free event but consider a donation so that we can cover costs of these grass root events for you! Take the Leap at Walnut Beach! Join the brave, warm-hearted souls who will Leap for Literacy. Leapers from around the area are invited to run, jump or dive into the chilly waters at Walnut Beach to help raise money to support Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut. Registration Fee: $20 for adults and $10 for students, includes a giveaway for each Leaper. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can't guarantee a giveaway. What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability, with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. Each player raises $1500 for the cause. LivFree is a pediatric cancer non-profit organization that provides children and their families with moments of joy to take a break from struggle and enjoy some family time together. Whether it's tickets to a game, a Broadway show, or a night out, LivFree is here to help the whole family.  When will this take place, and how does it work? The event starts at 5pm on Friday, March 26th, 2027, and the final horn will sound at 5pm Saturday, March 27th. Teams will be broken up into 3 groups (A, B, and C) based on ability, and each skater will get a minimum of 7 hours of ice time. Join us for a new Winter Series Event(yes we know March 29th is past Winter). Jose's Jog is a timed run on a mostly crushed stone path that travels 3.5ish miles around the Scovill Reservoir in Wolcott CT. The date is Sunday March 29, 2026. The course is gently flowing trail loop with easy footing and largely flat with only a few gentle hills starting and finishing from the Woodtick Recreation Area. An aid station will have water located roughly at the 2 mile mark. Snacks will be available at the finish. This is a no charge event. It's a great time of year with cool temperatures and hopefully no snow. Registrations are limited to 50 entrants due to town permits so we expect it to fill rapidly.  Results will be posted on-line the following Monday morning.         More information in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the HTC Quarter Marathon.   The quarter marathon distance is rare for weekend races. The Hartford Track Club Quarter Marathon will be held at the West Hartford Reservoir #4 on a well-marked paved course winding through the park.  Runners run two 3.275 mile loops to complete the 6.55 mile quarter marathon distance. Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age group category. This race is great training for those major spring events or just fun to try a unique distance. There is a limit of 150 runners.    NOTE---DAY OF REGISTRATION: If the 150 maximum has not been reached by 4/11/2026, we will allow race day registration. Cost will be $40.00.
