Saturday, November 14, 2026. Wild Hare has turned into one of our most fun trail races of all Tejas Trails events. With the safety and beauty of a privately owned Texas ranch and adventure park, and multiple really fun loops, new runners get a feel for trail running, and experienced runners get an opportunity to try new strategies, fueling, diet, etc. as well as hammer out a fast and fun race. Always a good turnout, usually nice weather, an entertaining course, hundreds of people hanging out all day and night... this is an absolutely fantastic trail race weekend with a bunch of good memories waiting to be made. The 23rd Annual Oilman Texas Triathlon is southeast Texas' favorite locally-produced Half Iron Distance Triathlon. New last year was the Sprint distance triathlon, offering more options to more athletes.  Saturday 5K and Kids Du athletes will enjoy a taste of the Sunday course, with a mix of roads and golf cart paths, with the same transition and finish line celebration.   Come for the race, stay for the weekend!  Resort guests and Day Pass holders will be able to join in our brand new "5 O'Clock Somewhere" Fun Tri, the most amazing triathlon-themed pool party ever.  On Sunday, Half distance athletes will enjoy a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, 56 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and a 13.1 mile run all starting and ending at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe!  The Sprint distance will include a 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike and a 5k run through the Margaritaville neighborhoods and golf course. The La Porte By the Bay Half Marathon starts at Sylvan Beach Park by the water. The course takes runners through La Porte streets and onto the Fred Hartman Bridge, one of Texas' most distinctive structures. The bridge features twin steel towers reaching 440 feet high, with yellow cables that stand out against the sky. After completing two bridge crossings, runners finish at Five Points Plaza where they can enjoy a post-race party featuring good food, cold beer, and awards. All finishers receive a medal. This event is the third race in the Texas Bridge Series, organized by 3 Bros Running Company.

Saturday, November 21st, 2026. The Summit Backyard Ultra is a backyard ultra that was previously hosted by Pursue Your Summit LLC. This is the first year that it will be operating under Perspective Pacing. The Summit LMS is a run under the backyard ultra format in which you must complete 4.17 miles within the hour on the hour until there is only one person left. The last person to complete a lap will be crowned the winner.  While every racer will get some cool swag, October 30th is the deadline to get a shirt. 2026 Houston Methodist Turkey Trot

Run 1, 2, 3 or 4 half or full marathons races around beautiful Bachman Lake!!!   Race information: USATF sanctioned, and chip timed!! The course is currently under construction so it will not be certified! Half or Full marathons offered daily or multiple days!!!Fast, flat course with two small climbs at dam and start/finish8 loops for the full and 4 loops for the half (started by a short out and back)One shirt for the seriesA medal each race completed and finisher medal for the seriesEasy access from Love Field or DFW airports, host hotel one mile from course with shuttle service to and from Love Field, on occasion they will shuttle you to event. Heath Golf & Yacht Club is putting on our fourth annual fun run on Thanksgiving morning.  Last year we were able to donate $18000.00 to Helping Hands.  All race proceeds will go to this organization who help families going through difficult times.  For more information click on the link below or copy and paste to your web browser.  https://rockwallhelpinghands.com/here-to-help/ It will feature a Kid's 1K at 8:00 AM and a 5K at 8:30.  The Kids 1K will be out and back from the Clubhouse, the 5K will circle a loop going east on Governor's Drive, north on Trophy and west back to Clubhouse on Governor's Drive. The 5K race will be a chipped timed race. Each Kid will receive a medal after finishing the 1K.  There will be overall female and male awards in the 5K, and age group awards: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, and 60-99. Results will be posted at the race site and on RunSignUp, the Kid's 1K will not be timed but the top 3 boys and girls will be acknowledged. Each reg
