OCTOBER 10, 2026. The Lake Somerville State Park is unique in that it is actually two parks linked up. The trail that links the two parks is a gorgeous path full of natural habitats and wildlife called The Trailway. For this year, we will run the entire race in the Birch Creek Unit. But we are excited about the future as a huge washed out bridge is expected to get re-built that will gain us access from one side of the lake all the way around to the other side to the Nails Creek Unit (over a marathon of trails one way!). The rest of the park’s trails flow through really fun, canopied, rolling terrain right next to the lake! The start/finish is at a sweet spot on the edge of the lake with a huge grass lawn to relax and play on post-race. While every racer will get some cool swag, September 15 is the deadline to get a shirt. During registration, we are collecting $10 for one day of access to the park. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Citizens Medical Center will host the10th Annual Citizens Run Against Cancer Half-Marathon and 5K in Victoria, Texas! All proceeds from this event benefit local patients who are battling cancer. As the proud home of the Kathryn O’Connor Regional Cancer Center, Citizens Medical Center cares for a large population of the region’s cancer patients with a comprehensive cancer program, expert physicians, a compassionate, knowledgeable staff, and advanced screening and treatment technology. Get ready for The Mammoth Race Glen Rose FALL migration. This multi-distance trail run welcomes families and runners of all skill levels. Enjoy the Hill Country that surrounds this stunning ONE THOUSAND acre ranch. We can't wait to see you out there!  The Mammoth - Glen Rose, TX is a multi-distance trail running event located on the trails High Hope Ranch and Eco-Retreat. Distances offered are 100K, 50K, 25K, 10K, 5K and The Mighty Mammoth 1K FUN RUN. There will be two sections of the course: a 3.5-mile loop and a 7-mile loop. Both loops combined equal a 10.5 mile lap. The event will run from 7 am on Saturday morning until 9 am on Sunday morning. The starting line and Main Race Hub will be the main lodge on the Ranch. Welcome to the annual Latitude-Fall Triathlon (previously known as the Bolivar Live) at Fort Travis Seashore Park located on the Bolivar Peninsula. This beautiful and historical property will the site for the Latitude Triathlon on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The swim will take place in the Gulf of Mexico with a protected barrier on both sides, the bike will take place on Hwy. 87 with an out and back route (Two loops for Olympic and one loop for sprint) and a run through a local neighborhood with beautiful views of the gulf. Registration is Live! We are excited to be hosting year 4 of a sprint triathlon in the Bryan/College Station area benefiting the local nonprofit First Win in honor of John C. Webb. For more information about The Active Texan and the triathlon, visit theactivetexan.com.  The race will consist of a 400m swim, 14 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run at Lake Walk and in the surrounding Traditions neighborhood in Bryan, Texas. This will be a great race for both seasoned triathletes and those looking to complete their first multisport race. We also have a relay option for those who want to compete, but do not (or feel they can not) complete all 3 events. Each member on the team of 3 must sign up individually, enter their team name, and select the event they will complete for the race.  This will be a USAT sanctioned race. Rather than end the multi-sport season with a bang, these athletes end their season with a SCREAM!  Monster Triathlon 2026 marks year 21 and will sell-out early with over 700 athletes! The distances are FAST for the experienced athletes and just right for the beginner. At Monster Keller, you will enjoy the beautiful indoor pool of the Keller Natatorium for a 300 meter swim; jump on your bike for 14.3 miles, and finish strong with a 3.1 mile run. Each event is a little different at the finish line. Some have live bands, but ALL of the events are filled with energy and WONDERFUL costumes which are ENCOURAGED! This is a great race to end your triathlon season!   WEATHER POLICY In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

The Home for Freedom Marathon will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event features a Full Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5K. The Start/Finish line area is located in Lucy Park at the pavilion.  A spaghetti dinner will be available for all participants on Friday October 16, 2026 from 5pm - 8pm, at the same time & location as packet pick up.
