The San Antonio River Authority, together with the San Antonio River Foundation, welcomes you to the Race the River Paddle Series!  Canoe and kayakers of all skill levels are invited to participate at each adventure race throughout the San Antonio River Basin.   The SASPAMCO Race is the second race of the series.  This 12-mile pro race, or 6-mile amateur race, takes you through a more remote stretch of the San Antonio River along the SASPAMCO Paddling Trail.   An award ceremony and racer celebrations will follow each race.  Commemorative patches will be given to all finishers, trophies will be given to top finishers of each category.

Oom-pah, oom-pah — it’s Oktoberfest and it’s Bier Now. Fall mornings, tuba-powered vibes, and a festive run or walk with the Peticolas Running Club. Stick around for breakfast tacos from That Taco Dude, your custom Oktoberfest kickoff pint glass, and three Peticolas beers. Run to the rhythm. Prost to Bier Now! Go at YOUR pace, run, walk, skip, whatever you like the goal is to show up and have fun. Bring a friend or make new ones at the social run. The three miles is on a trail near the brewery! Check-in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM.  You can start your run/walk whenever you would like or join the 'group' start at 8:30 AM and run with the group! The rolling start allows you a choice, flexibility to go at your pace but please arrive by 9:00 AM (check in ends promptly at 9:00 AM, thank you!). The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. September 12, 2026. Get your friends and family, and join in on this close to Austin and San Antonio lake party and trail run! The finish line arch will be as close to the edge of Lake Travis as we can get it (Austin area’s famed lake boasting over 9 miles of shoreline)! So when you finish you can cruise straight into the water to cool off and start your floating post-race party! This means, as the lake rises and falls each year, the distance will possibly slightly change, so we'll add "ish" to each distance...and that's perfect when everything and everyone stays mellow. We’re incredibly thankful for the support of this race by the Travis County Parks Foundation! While every racer will get some cool swag, August 18 is the deadline to get a shirt. During registration, we are collecting $10 for one day of access to the park. This is our nighttime party trail run just West of Houston at Stephen F. Austin State Park! ​The trails are wide and mainly gravel/dirt with a few quick elevation changes but a great trail run for beginners to advanced.  ​All runners will need both a light and hydration device as mandatory equipment. The trail will be marked with reflectors and ribbons. We are a cupless race so you must carry your own bottle/flask. Follow park instructions for parking along the right side of the park road, starting at the group dining hall event area and filling back from there.  The group dining hall is where all the action happens; packet pickup, start/finish, spectator hang-out lawn with runners personal area, and our main aid station. A second water refill will be available at halfway at the road crossing. Extra lights and costumes are encouraged! Sunset is at 7:30 PM.

CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System has partnered with East Texas Triathletes to present the Rose City Triathlon. This annual sprint triathlon takes place The Boulders at Lake Tyler.  Rose City Tri is known for a beautiful course around Lake Tyler and its trend of attracting new participants from across East Texas and beyond each year. In fact, each year members of USA Triathlon Association vote on their favorite small, medium, and large triathlon. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Join us Saturday September 19th 2026 at 8:30 am CST for our inaugural Miles for Merrick, a community 5K and 1 Mile walk/run. We are the parents of Merrick, Macy and Michael Maldonado, and we are creating this event to raise awareness for lissencephaly pachygyria, a rare neurological and genetic disorder that affects brain development. This event is inspired by Merrick and the joy and strength shown by children and families living with conditions that require special attention and care.  Miles for Merrick is about more than just walking and running miles, it’s about bringing together families and friends to support one another, raise awareness, and make a meaningful impact in our community. A portion of proceeds from this event will go to the Turn Center in Amarillo, a nonprofit organization that provides therapy services and support to children with developmental challenges. Run Paris, Y'all! This race is held on the NETT Trail, a rails-to-trails conversion route. The trail is a mix of asphalt, soft ground, gravel trails and some bridge crossings. This is a flat and fast course. It’s "a road race with a trail vibe!" All distances start and end at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Texas. If you haven't been, Paris, Texas is approximately 90 minutes northeast of Dallas, TX, 90 minutes west of Texarkana, less than 20 minutes south of the Oklahoma/Texas border and three hours south of Tulsa, OK.   Run a race in the morning, at night, or both! El Paso's premier multisport event, Eagle in the Sun Triathlon has introduced thousands to their first triathlon. Now entering its 16th year, the race is a favorite for new and experienced athletes alike and welcomes relay teams in addition to individual competitors. Eagle in the Sun Triathlon begins with a 400-meter swim in a 50-meter pool. Participants then ride on a mostly flat 12-mile out-and-back bike on the Border Highway and run 5K run on the Playa Drain Trail.  First 600 participants guaranteed to receive a moisture-wicking race shirt, athlete bag, water bottle and swim cap.
