Dick Lytie Classic  The Dick Lytie will take place on Saturday, March 21st with a 3 mile, 15k, and half marathon distance!  We are so excited to carry on this long standing tradition of the race established In 1981 - 45 years ago.  The "Mighty Lytie Challenge" is the challenge to complete all three event distances in one week.  How it will work, is participated must compete in the half marathon distance on race day but then will have the week leading up to the event (starting March 14) to complete the other two distances.  Those distances can be completed on any route or the actual course routes.  Your choice!  In addition to the Dick Lytie t-shirt, Mighty Lytie participants will also receive additional GBRC swag which could include running hat, socks, gloves, bondi bands and cinch bags. On Thursday, April 9th, at 6:00 PM, the UWP Health and Human Performance Department will be teaming up with Hamann's Helping Hands to host a 5k sunset run/walk at Memorial Park on the UW-Platteville campus. Proceeds raised at this event will go to Hamann's Helping Hands Charity, which is working to raise funds and provide gifts for children in the hospital. This is a great opportunity to help raise money for kids in need while enjoying the spring weather and promoting physical wellness. The course trail begins at Memorial Park and continues onto a slightly wooded, gravel path which runs adjacent to the Rountree Branch creek. We encourage all walks of life to participate in our Sunset Stroll. The program is beginner friendly, non-intimidating and ideal for those new to running.  Running can be a great workout and running with the Badgerland Striders is a social way to run. Canine Campus Crawl 2026

A 2.5 mile run/walk held by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Pre-Veterinary Association. Come enjoy the beautiful lake scenery while contributing to our fundraiser, where all proceeds raised will be donated to WisCares! Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay

The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile spring relay race with teams of 2-8 participants. Starting on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Menomonee Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, runners will head north along the lake towards the Fox Cities before crossing the countryside of Calumet County and finally entering the Fox River Trail just north of Forest Junction. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Moving Mountains MEDLIFE 5K Run/Walk

2026 Jensen Center Youth Soccer Registration

The Jensen Community Center's annual Youth Soccer program is open to all area youth from grades 4K through 8. The 2026 season will run from Tuesday, April 14 to Thursday, May 14, with the 6-8 league playoffs scheduled for Saturday, May 16. (Schedules are weather-dependent.) Games for K-5 are held on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings with Tuesday evenings as game makeup dates if needed. The grades 6-8 division will have games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with practices and clinics on Saturday mornings. 4K games are held only on Saturday mornings with no make-up sessions.
