The 13.1 mile course will start in the Wallis Sands State parking lot and run a clockwise loop along the seacoast and through downtown Rye, NH. Runners will exit the park, go south along Route 1A coast for several miles, turn inland and go north through the town of Rye, then hit Route 1A again and travel south along the coast to finish inside Wallis Sands State Park.

The District Dash 5K Fun Run & Walk has been a great fundraiser for the Fall Mountain Educational Endowment Association (FMEEA) and the board is excited to bring it back in 2025. Through FMEEA grants, the money goes directly back into the Fall Mountain Regional School District community. Grant recipients have enriched the lives of students in the district by going on field trips, seeing plays and cultural shows, bringing hands-on learning into the classroom, and building the skills students need to become positive, active community members!  This event for all ages will take place at Fall Mountain Regional High School in Langdon, NH on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Save the Date - Sunday, May 17, 2026 Join us at the Keene Dillant-Hopkins Airport for the 3rd annual Keene Airport 5K to benefit The Keene Senior Center. The Runway 5K Race Map is different this year. Instead, the race begins at the Airport Terminal and continues on a tree-lined flat, fast paved road that passes through scenic wildlife filled wetlands. This course offers more protection from the wind, great for PRs (personal records). This area is highly acclaimed for its rich and varied bird watching.  In addition to being a great route for runners, the race is also walker- and stroller-friendly.  We’re also bringing plenty of excitement with great prizes, including a special random drawing for a helicopter ride. Ryan’s Run: A 5K for Recovery & Hope We are honored to present Ryan’s Run, a community 5K dedicated to celebrating the life of Ryan McDermott, a loving father, son, brother, and friend. Ryan’s journey with substance use was long and difficult, but it never defined who he truly was. He was known for his kind heart, his adventurous spirit, and his deep love of music. Music was the soundtrack of his life, and he often shared it with those around him as a way of connecting, lifting spirits, and creating joy. Although his battle with substance use was painful, programs like those supported by the New Hampshire Coalition of Recovery Residences (NHCORR) gave him years of sobriety, stability, and happiness. Those were years filled with family, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever. While we grieve the loss of Ryan, we also celebrate his legacy. The "Shaker 7" is sponsored by the Enfield Village Association as their signature annual fundraiser. The race starts and finishes at the Shaker Recreation Park on Route 4A in Enfield, New Hampshire, taking runners on a scenic 7 mile certified route around the southern end of Mascoma Lake, down historic Main Street, over the Shaker Bridge, and back down Route 4A to the park. The Shaker 7 also includes the three-mile walk option.  We also offer live entertainment and refreshments before and after the race. *Pre-registration ends 5/30, after that date the registration fee will increase by $5 and you will not be guaranteed a race shirt.

Second ANNUAL Locke Lake-a-Thon This is a fun run/walk/ bike around Locke Lake organized by the Locke Lake Colony Association. Created as a fun way to get out and be active in the community. We planned the 4th of July weekend where we figured the most people would be around. The Event will start at the Lodge/Pool 1 at 43 Colony Dr. The half finish will be at North Barnstead Beach with parking located on Monroe dr, which is directly across from Varney rd. The half is about 2.5 Miles. The full will bring you all the way around Locke Lake back to 43 Colony dr and is about 4.5 Miles. The event will start at 9am sharp on July 3rd 2026. You may bike, walk or run either event.

Join us for the second annual SSG Tanner Grone Memorial 5K, a special race dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of SSG Tanner Grone, a beloved local community member who enjoyed bringing people together and having fun. This event, organized by Tanner's sister and one of his best friends, will celebrate his love for community, family, and friendships, while raising funds to support a Gorham High School Senior who shares values close to his heart. Tanner enlisted in the Army on July 11, 2017, and to honor his service and his spirit, the race will take place each year in July. The month that marked the beginning of his military journey, and the beginning of finding himself.  The 5K course will start at Tanner’s soccer field, a place where he excelled and made lifelong memories. Why not combine 2 of my favorite activities into one! Introducing the Run & Cube 5K --- a quirky twist on the usual 5K for all running geeks or geeky runners. Here's how it works: When you sign in and pick up your bib number you will be given a 3x3x3 cube (similar to Rubik's Cube {tm}) that has been scrambled randomly. You can try and solve it before the race starts and/or during the race while you are running. Once you cross the finish line --- if you have solved at least one side of the cube --- you can present it to the timing crew and receive a bonus deduction from your race time. Full size cubes with the race logo on them will be awarded to the fastest running cubers based on their final time after any deductions for solving one or more sides of the cube. Run & Cube 5K Rules: Runners should work independently to solve their own cube. Runners can attempt to solve the cube before or during the race and if they solve at least 1 side of the cube can check in with the timers at the end of the race to receive their bonus time deduction. Time Deduction will be calculated as follows: 1 side = 1 minutes; 2 sides = 1.5 minutes; 3 sides = 2 minutes; 4 sides = 2.5 minutes; 5 sides = 3 minutes; ALL 6 sides = 5 minutes. 50% of the proceeds of this race will go towards the organization of the first ever speed cubing competition in the Madeira (a semi-independent small group of islands 200 miles off the coast of Morocco) and the other 50% will go to local school's Math Teams. The race will be run on the usual Delta Dental 5K course in Concord NH. Refreshments will be available post race.

FIRE CHIEF DARIN J. SABINE Newington Fire Chief Darin Sabine was born on August 4, 1984 in Newington, NH and his lastalarm was on September 7, 2019 after a 2-year battle with colon cancer. Chief Sabine was diagnosed in early 2017 with Stage 4 colon cancer. He had spent much of hisshort time here on earth either with family or at the fire station. He was dedicated to his family andbrotherhood. He fought hard to spend as much time as he could with his wife and 2 little girls. Our hope with this run is that we will keep Chief Sabine’s memory alive and raise funds to support first responders and their families who have been affected by cancer or other life-threatening illnesses or injuries.  The race length of 3.3 miles is in honor of Newington Fire Department 33. This beautiful race along the New Hampshire coast is not to be missed for amazing scenery and a great experience. The ocean swim takes place in the Atlantic Ocean off of a beautiful sandy beach. The Wallis Sands Triathlon is held at Wallis Sands State Park in Rye, New Hampshire. After a 1/3 mile swim in the Atlantic Ocean or for the duathletes, a 1 mile (total) out and back run with water views, the bike course completes a 14.5 mile scenic loop in the town of Rye and takes in the beautiful views along route 1A. The 5k run course is an out and back with the turnaround at Odiorne Point State Park.
