Finan Doyle Dash

Indianapolis, IN
The inaugural running of the Finan Doyle Dash is a fast and flat 2‑mile run held in honor of an extraordinary human whose life was taken far too soon. Finan loved running—especially the 2‑mile—during his time with Ben Davis Track & Field, where his love for the sport truly came to life. Finan was full of life. He loved adventure, thrived on community, and cherished time spent with friends. No matter the event, Finan always showed up with a smile, ready to give his best and lift those around him. Finan was studying at Purdue University and was enrolled in the Air Force ROTC, pursuing his goal of becoming a fighter jet pilot in the United States Air Force after graduation. This Dash is an invitation to do the same. Runners are encouraged to dedicate their run to someone meaningful in their life—a friend, a loved one, a teammate, or anyone whose spirit inspires them to keep moving forward. Together, we run with purpose. Proceeds from the Finan Doyle Dash are donated to the Finan Doyle

Good, Better, Best 5K

Columbus, IN
THE CAUSE – Near the conclusion of each school year, the Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation (BCSF) acknowledges a deserving educator from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC). The “Good, Better, Best” recognition – awarded in honor of two BCSC Hall of Fame, long-time educators (Ross Wallace and Chuck Grimes) – goes to a BCSC employee that has gone “above and beyond” and “outside the box” in their passionate attempt to make education as positive and memorable of an experience as possible for the students they serve. Our hope is that proceeds from this race will continue to pay tribute to the legacy of not only Mr. Wallace/Mr. Grimes and this award’s recipients, but also draw attention to deserving educators everywhere for a long time to come.
