RMRR Spring Marathon Training Series #2

RMRR provides consistent and individualized marathon training opportunities for runners of all abilities. All races in the series are low cost, friendly, fully supported, and officially timed.The first two races, March 29 & April 11, are 10 Mile and 20 Mile races (runners choice for distance). The third race in the series is the Inaugural Blue Heron half marathon.  All you need to do is focus on your running!  Our races fit perfectly in training schedules for Boston, London, Colfax, and other spring full and half marathons. Dash for Detection: Oral Cancer Awareness 5K

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to secure the necessary credentialing to move forward with the event this year. All registered participants will receive a full refund of their race registration fees within the next few weeks. No further action is needed on your end. While this is not the news we hoped to share, please know that our commitment to raising awareness for oral cancer and supporting those currently battling the disease—as well as honoring those we have lost—remains unwavering. We are already exploring alternative options and beginning preparations to ensure the 2027 race is even bigger and better than ever. Colorado Center on Law and Policy stated in their 2018 Self Sufficiency Standard for Colorado report, “Almost two out of three single mothers lack income adequate to meet their basic needs.”  A new survey done by Justice Necessary, a non-profit out of Colorado Springs revealed that of 1,256 Colorado women 18-40 years old, 57% of these women struggle with affording period products. Yes, you read that right, 57%. Boulder Track Series Meet 1

We are pleased to offer 2 x Spring track meets (4/12 and 5/3), for middle distance and distance runners, that will be conducted similarly to the BMC (British Milers Club) meets. All meets will be held at Niwot High School. Our 2nd track meet, known as the Frank Shorter Track Classic, will take place on Sunday May 3rd. Please join the Durango Running Club for the inaugural Earth Day 5K! The race will be on 04/18/26 at 8:30 AM at Rotary Park in Durango. Runners and walkers will go north on the Animas River Trail from Rotary Park, and will run or walk 1.55 miles north to just before 32nd Street. Hot Laps - Denver

When: April 24, 2026 | Meet up: 5:30pm, Race: 6:30pm, Finals: 7:30pm, End:10pm Where: Little Machine Join us for the fourth round of Hot Laps sponsored by Runners Roost and Citius RC powered by On. The rules stay the same this year, but the course takes steps elsewhere. Teams of four race to complete as many laps as they can in 45 minutes. The top five teams with the most laps progress to a final round where the fastest laps win. Relay teams are mixed gendered and created by racers before they sign up. Each team must have at least one member of the opposite gender (2 girls/2 guys, 3 girls/1 guy, etc.) Teams can pick up race packets the week before at Runners Roost | 1685 S Colorado Blvd J, Denver, CO 80222. 2026 Flying Pig 5K

Funner to be a Runner

Free race for children 8th grade and younger as part of the annual Spring Run Off.  In past years we've had over 450 kids in these races so please get pre-registered early so all you have to do is pick up a bib race morning. We do have same day registration from 8:30 to 10:30 am.
