This fun, family-friendly event will take place at the Westerville Sports Complex, with participants enjoying the beautiful biking and running trails that surround the area. For the past 15 years, Central Ohio Primary Care has hosted this event to benefit the communities we serve. All proceeds from the event directly support local initiatives that improve the physical and emotional well-being of underserved populations in central Ohio. Since its inception, we have granted nearly $1 million to local charities, making a lasting impact on our community. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. RAPTOR Inc. has been a leader in bird of prey conservation in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky since 1978. RAPTOR Inc.’s conservation activities include rescue and rehabilitation of ill and injured birds of prey, conducting field research at the Raptor Center and at local nesting sites, collaborating with other like-minded conservation organizations, and educating the public about the value of these birds to the environment. Your participation in this event helps RAPTOR Inc. purchase essential items such as food, medications, medical supplies, and maintenance equipment necessary to fulfill our mission to conserve our magnificent local birds of prey. The Dwell Student Ministry Camps 5k trail race through Sharon Woods Metro Park, to benefit students from Dwell Community Church to attend a life-changing summer camp with their peers. This is a race to the benefit of middle and high school students looking at attend summer camps with friends through Dwell Community Church. These life-changing trips are dearly loved by students but many need assistance to be able to afford them. During these week-long camps, students experience many things for the first time -- visiting a large, outdoor, beautiful space outside of the state with the autonomy to explore & enjoy nature, building deep spiritual friendships, and exploring what they think about God. We invite you to the Return of the Four Leaf Clover 4-mile run and Alayna Bretsik Family Fun Run to benefit cancer patients of all ages right here in Northeast Ohio on Saturday, September 12th at 10:00am. This challenging, fun four-mile course will travel through some of the famous brick road West Hill neighborhoods of Akron, including historic Glendale Cemetery. This community event benefits pediatric cancer initiatives and begins at 10 a.m. Parking will be at the Huddle Road Parking lot And the 5K will start at the fairground, and you can take the road to Oberhaus Park, which is about a mile away. Once at the park, participants can complete an additional three miles using the park sidewalk before returning to the fairgrounds. In addition to the walk, the day will include a car show hosted by the River City Rodders, inflatables for children, food trucks, and a Touch A Truck experience. THIRD ANNUAL WESTLAKE COMMUNITY RUN  The City of Westlake Community Run is a special event for the whole family, being hosted by the Recreation Department and held in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Day. Come out and enjoy a run or walk through the beautiful City of Westlake and then stay for the Fair! Race begins and ends on the Recreation Center Campus. There will be a timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division along with an untimed 1-Mile Walk beginning at 8:30 am. We are also hosting a Kids Dash, which is free for those 8 years old and under. This is the 22nd YUTC Event   Mill Creek Park is a very scenic and picturesque area maintained by the Ohio Metro Parks system. It is the second largest urban park in the USA - only Central Park is larger.   The current course is 95% single track past large mature trees, past lakes and waterfalls.  It is mixture of short steep hills followed by runnable terrain. There is approximately 1397 feet of elevation gain per 25K loop.   The 25K course is one loop around Mill Creek Park.  The 50K course is two loops around Mill Creek Park.   This is a terrific race for the newcomers to trail running and challenging for the old veteran trail dogs. YUTC will provide everyone with a truly memorable experience.  You will find yourself stopping and snapping photo after photo to share with friends and family.     The YUTC Course: The course begins at the Bresko Pavilion and travels clockwise around the park passing the Mill then traveling through the Covered Bridge to the aid station on the other side.

ORRRC's rich history with ultra trail races starts with this one! Come run through one of the best MetroParks in Montgomery county. This race will take you through cedar forests, open prairies, alongside Twin Creek, through a span of old-growth forests, and up and down some of the most scenic hills and peaceful valleys around. A great course for anyone looking to challenge their skill and endurance at the 50k distance. 2nd year for the TWO-PERSON 50k RELAY! This is a fun 5K run/walk  aimed towards bringing the community together to create hope for the future by reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, depression and anxiety and raising awareness of resources available to prevent Suicide and the ripple effect left on family, friends and the community.  The funds raised at this event are reinvested in the community to continue to the efforts all year long.

Come on out and race on the wooded trails at the Oak Openings Metropark. Two race distances to choose from, 25K and 5K. All races utilize the beautiful trails at Oak Openings Metropark that pass through hardwood and pine forests, open prairie, and along stream sides.  All races start and finish at the Buehner Center next to Mallard Lake in the center of the park.  The 25K has been awarded the RRCA Ohio State 25K Championship. I Love You" event honors Patrick Steurer, a 1997 graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and a dedicated member of the downtown Akron YMCA. An avid runner, Patrick completed his first half marathon in under two hours in 2013 and aimed to run his first full marathon in 2015. Unfortunately, he tragically passed away during a training run before achieving this goal. His father and board member emeritus, Dan Steurer, was involved in the YMCA for many years, including chairing the Jack-O-Lantern Jog 5K for two decades. Parkinson’s Steady Strides 5K Dedicated to the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of those living with Parkinson’s disease in the Greater Dayton/Cincinnati metroplex, Parkinson Support & Wellness exists to help those with PD learn about the disease, which empowers individuals to take control and make connections with local resources like support and exercise groups. Steady Strides, a timed 5K race and walk brings people together to raise funds for our mission to serve the local Parkinson community. These funds go directly toward financial grants made to local exercise and therapy organizations and to essential educational programs like PD-EDU. Our big day isn't just a 5k; it's a joyful gathering of our community and a demonstration of the impact we can make when we work together. 2026 - Monkey See Monkey Do! How far can your team go in 24 hours?  This is a 4 person / 8 person team relay event. You decide how to break up the miles. Some will run 1 mile at a time. Some will run a few miles at once. Stay for the full 24 hours or just however long you want to stay. It is up to you! Each team will have a 10x10 space to set up a tent / team site. NEW 10k for 2026! We will be celebrating the new Buckeye Trail section at West Branch State Park. The Buckeye Trail has recently been designated a State Trail by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and is only the third trail to receive this recognition. This new section is the first of more to come!  West Branch State Park is predominantly forested with a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. The forest is primarily oak-hickory and provides habitats for a diverse array of wildlife, including deer, foxes, raccoons, squirrels, pheasant, and songbirds. The dense canopy provides shade and cool temperatures in the warmer months making it perfect for hiking and running.  Marathoners will make their way around the eastern end of the lake crossing the dam and then continuing to the entrance to the campground before returning back to the beach. The route is on the flat, paved city streets of Delphos and Stadium Park along the historic Miami-Erie Canal.  Along the 3.1 mile course you'll learn interesting facts about the waterway so you'll learn while you burn.  The race starts and ends in front of the firehouse located  on Second St with refreshments provided after you walk/run.  Stick around town for the "Under The Big Top" parade which begins at 2 pm.   Registration to guarantee a t-shirt ends on Sep 10th.  Race day registration and check in begins at 8 am.
