Ride 3 of 3 in the Wheelie Good Cause series.  An easy, 10 mile ride through West Toledo, suitable for most ability levels.  Please note: this is an unsupported ride. The route will, at times, be on open roads with automobile traffic. Participants are expected to follow the rules of the road at all times. Beulah Beach, located halfway between Vermilion and Huron, is a Christian camp and retreat center. The proceeds from the 5K and Kids Fun Run will go towards our new Pickle-ball courts. The Kids' Fun Run (roads only) will be at 6pm with the 5K shortly after. The 5K will be on roads, grass covered fields and wooded trails. While most of the 5K is flat there are some small hills included. At the conclusion of the award presentation there will be food trucks, lake swimming, zip-lines and music. Fun for the whole family! The Roundtown Classic is an annual fundraising event for the Circleville High School Alumni Association. Established in 2005, this organization promotes activities of the Circleville City Schools including scholarships. CHS Alumni is a not-for-profit 501 C3 organization. Sign up for the 19th annual Dr. Bender 5K Classic! This year's race again has in-person and virtual options for participation. Those who wish to participate in person can do so on the morning of Saturday, July 18th, at Canal Winchester High School. Race morning will consist of our traditionally fast and competitive 5K race, as well as separate Girls and Boys 1 Mile Fun Runs (suggested for ages 12 & under). A virtual 5K event will also be available for those who are not able or choose not to participate in the in-person race. The Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile celebrates Tom's lasting impact on the lives he touched. Tom served as the track and cross-country coach for over twenty years, first at Alliance High School (Alliance, OH) and then at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights, Ohio. The proceeds from this event will be used to create a scholarship in Tom's name and be awarded to a senior track or cross-country runner from the Parma City School District. The 5K and 1-mile events will each be chip-timed. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to participate. You can register for both distances, and your times will be combined to determine rankings for the combo category. The 5K course will feature split points at every mile and live participant tracking via The Last Mile mobile APP.  The 1-mile course features a split at the half-mile mark. HOW REGISTRATION WORKS The event is comprised of 24, 1-hour games in a row and is open to men's and women's teams of all ages and abilities. Every team that registers plays in at least one, 1-hour game and will be matched with an opposing team of similar age and abilities If you register as a dual-slot, your team will have the entire hour with no opposing team schedule, and choose how you wish to play for that hour. Hi! My name is Ava and my friends and I are excited to be holding the 9th annual Lemon Trails 5K Run/Walk this year. When I was in first grade (2016) I started a lemonade stand at our community garage sale to raise money for “sick kids”. My parents and I found Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and knew it was a great fit for our mission. This organization helps to fund grants for research, raise awareness, and support families with a mission to help find the cure for childhood cancer. My friends and siblings joined me on this mission and since 2016 we have held 8 lemonade stands and are excited to be holding our 9th Lemon Trails 5K Run/Walk this year. We have raised a total of $92,273, which has all been donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation on behalf of this event! The Towpath Trail 10K and Half Marathon!  Come join the fun and run the beautifully maintained towpath trail along the mighty Maumee River.  Both courses start at Providence Metropark near the dam across the river from Grand Rapids, OH. You'll head out on the historic canal towpath and then return to the finish at the Providence dam and shelter. The towpath is crushed gravel and dirt with lots of shade. You'll enjoy scenic views of the river and run past the historic canal locks and grain mill at the park. You can spend some time around by the dam at the Shelter after the race and then visit quaint Grand Rapids. Half marathoners should be able to finish within three hours. The XC camp will be held Tuesday, July 21st through Saturday, July 25th from 8 am until 11:30 am at Shore Middle School in Mentor, Ohio. The camp is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade. While being able to utilize the school facilities, the camp also features an outdoor amphitheater for group activity, a cross country course, access to a Lake Metropark, miles of bike paths, and rural trails through the Mentor Marsh for training. The Kevin Peck Memorial Run was established in honor of Kevin Peck, a 1998 graduate of Northwest High School who was tragically killed in December of 2011.  Kevin was a state qualifying track and cross country runner.  His untimely death was a tragedy to all who knew him.  In his memory, the Kevin Peck Perseverance Award Scholarship was created. Kevin often lamented that the hardest step of running was the first.  He held the belief that hard work would pay off, and once he got going, eventually he would reach his goal if he kept working. The Kevin Peck Perseverance Award is presented to a Northwest High School Cross Country or Distance Track senior athlete whose performance dramatically improved from their first season running through their last.  This does not necessarily mean the fastest runner or MVP.  It is the athlete who reflects the determination, focus and drive that Kevin had to persevere, and become the outstanding runner that he was.  To help support this award and the Nort
