Join us for the Hopyard’s Spirit of Inclusion 5k, 1 Mile Harvest Hustle and the NEW Harvest Hustle Half Mile!   This is a fun run in the residential neighborhood Hopyard Farms which is relatively flat with a lot of community support along the way.  We will have our annual costume contest this year and encourage you to dress up and enjoy this race either running, walking, rolling or come out to cheer for a DUO team or your favorite runners!  Our goal is to encourage other athletes on their quest to reach the finish line!

It's a Stafford Halloween tradition!  Run or walk with us on October 24th in the 11th Annual Halloween 5K and Monster Mile! Costumes are encouraged and prizes are given to the best costumes.  All participants will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and custom finisher's medal as long as you register before the t-shirt deadline on October 10th. The Halloween 5K is the 4th race in the 2026 Stafford Race Series.  This race benefits Project Lifesaver with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program operated internationally by public safety agencies and is strategically designed for “at risk” individuals who are prone to the life-threatening behavior of wandering. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander due to a cognitive condition.   Monster Mile Parents: the path along Mine Road parallels the race course.

The MCM is the largest marathon in the world that doesn't offer prize money, instead celebrating the honor, courage, and commitment of all finishers. The RVA Mile (aka Regency Mile), along with the 5 & Under 400m Express Run, has held the record for the largest timed youth road race in Richmond for 15 years!  With both in-person and virtual race options, an adult race, condensed start times, and a fall festival, this event provides a family-friendly day of racing. The 3rd Annual "Feed A Veteran 5K" is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026. Watch this page for registration updates. D.C. has over 500 homeless veterans living on the streets or temporary housing facilities. During the winter months, these veterans face extreme cold out in the elements and have no where to turn for support and a hot meal. The Feed a Veteran 5K on Saturday, November 7, 2026 is a fun 3.1 mile road race on an enclosure golf car path of Old Hickory Golf Course in Woodbridge, VA. The race is organized with community partners to raise money and provide hot food and winter survival kits for the homeless veterans in DC and provide suicide prevention programs for veterans. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble sandwiches and soup that will be delivered to these homeless veterans the afternoon after the race! This run is in memory of Bob Gurtler, former mayor of the Plains, chemical engineer(rocket scientist) and life long runner. As a member of many running clubs. He mentored many beginning runner, supported the running community, and advocated for the health and well being of all.  The race starts at 8am at Grace Episcopal Church in the Plains, Va. and proceeds through town and down to Hopewell road. It continues to the halfway point and returns on the same course back to the church where it finish.  All proceeds go to the local food pantry, Peas & Grace.

The Noland Trail 50K & Relay gives runners the opportunity to race the ONLY event run on the beautiful Noland Trail in The Mariners’ Museum Park. The 50K will consist of 6 laps on the trail, and a short section of course before and after each trail lap. Relay teams can be made up of 2-6 team members, and take on the 6 laps together. In between laps runners can hang out together in "Tortuga" and enjoy time with one another. All runners gain access to the Mariners' Museum Fall Festival that will feature live music, craft beer & cider tastings and activities for the entire family.  The race start times are set up so that the slowest runners/teams start first (7:30AM is first wave of runners), and throughout the morning gradually faster runners/teams will start, with the fastest runners starting around 8:45-9:00AM. The Fall Backyard Burn (SBYB) is a series of 5 and 10 mile trail running races held on some of the best trail networks in the Northern Virginia Area. All the courses include a mixture of forested fire roads, twisty hiking trails, stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement. Hemlock Overlook, located along the banks of the historic Bull Run, feels surprisingly remote for being so close to Washington D.C. Sightings of deer, beaver, turkey, osprey and great blue heron are not uncommon in this 425 acre park. This beautiful race course consists mostly of hiking trails (including the Bull Run Occoquan Trail), old dirt roads, and open fields. Competitors will run over rocks and roots and along bull run. The course is designed to be spectator friendly with several areas designated for family and friends to cheer on their racers. The Eagle 5000 Turkey Trot is a new race that puts a twist on the traditional Thanksgiving turkey trot. Entrants will run a full 5k on the track with athletes racing in heats based on their predicted finishing times. This event will be held on November 21st, 2026 on the track at Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, VA. The race is in-person, rain or shine.   This event is all about bringing our community together to help raise money for the Thomas Edison Cross Country and Track and Field programs. Riverbend lies adjacent to the Potomac River and just west of Great Falls National Park. The course is beautiful and includes incredible riverside singletrack, a few short hills, and amazing views.  This is not a super technical course. We are excited to introduce more trail runners to this special park and hope you will decide to come join the fun. Join us for our 34th Year! The YMCA Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day tradition that attracts runners of all ages and abilities to Fredericksburg, VA each year. Run or walk the 5K course through scenic downtown Fredericksburg! Kids can get in on the fun by joining a parent in the 5K or running the 1-mile race. All finishers will receive a medal! There's also a 1/4 Mile Tot Trot held on Wednesday, November 25th at 4pm on the JMHS track. Your littlest trotters (ages 5 and under) can race the day before the main Turkey Trot!  Proceeds raised support Rappahannock Area YMCA programs that empower youth, improve community health, and ensure affordable access for all.

Before the turkey and the stuffing take part the most LIT holiday run of the season. The Glowing Gobbler 5K is an evening race that gives runners a unique opportunity to run through Newport News Park's Celebration In Lights. Get in the holiday spirit and have a little run while you are at it! Entry fees are non-refundable; race numbers and entries cannot be transferred to other persons. No exceptions. This means once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, and you may not give or sell your number or timing chip to anyone else.

The Rocktown Turkey Trot is the perfect mix of fun and fitness on Thanksgiving morning. The four mile course is designed with all skill levels in mind - and it's ideal for first-timers and veteran runners alike. The Turkey Trot is a professionally timed event (you'll receive a race bib and chip timing device at packet pickup), but don't let that deter you from coming dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed running gear! The Gobble Gobble Kids Dash is a can't-miss tradition for kids on Thanksgiving. They'll be energized by the roar of the crowd and feel the freedom of wind in their face as they run through the closed-down streets of Court Square in Harrisonburg. Kids Dash participants will finish prior to the start of the Rocktown Turkey Trot.

Join us for a scenic 5K that winds through the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William & Mary before ending on Prince George Street.
