Salute to Service 5K & 1 Miler

Salute to Service 5K and Kid's Mile Presented by Tidewater Striders and City of Suffolk Parks and Recreation  Join us as we celebrate all of those who served our great country! Race Start- Festival Park 215 W Washington Suffolk Va 23434   COURSE: Fast, flat course in downtown Suffolk  FLUIDS AND FOOD: There will be 1 aid station with water at about the 1.5 mark.  AMENITIES & POST-RACE: All 5k & 1 Mile registered runners will receive a Premium T-Shirt & All finishers will receive Medals. Onsite hospitality & refreshments including After-party with live Band, Beer, Pizza, Snacks, and Cold Beverages  PACKET PICKUPS: Early Packet Pickup will be at Momac Brewering Company on Friday,  November 8th, 3 pm-6 pmRace Day Packet Pickup will be from 7-7:50 am for 5K & 7-9 am for the mile on Race Day by the starting area.  RACE TIMES: The 5k race starts at 8 AM and the 1 mile starts at approx 9:15 am  AWARDS:  5K Race: Top 3 OVERALL Male and Female,  and Top 3 Male and Female
