The White Lake Half is celebrated as one of the fastest HALF-IRON courses in the United States (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run), drawing athletes eager to set a personal record. The race begins and ends at The Grand Regal at Goldston’s Beach, right in the heart of White Lake, North Carolina. The purpose of the Run For Holland 5K and 10K is to raise awareness in our community about Down Syndrome and other disabilities. Specifically, to raise awareness for parents who have had or are having a child born with a physical or mental disability. We want to show these parents that having a child with Down Syndrome or any other disability is not the end of the world, it is the beginning of a wonderfully different, more fulfilling world.

5K run through residential streets in Goldsboro, NC. The race will start and finish at Wayne School of Engineering. The course has a few small hills to enjoy but is mostly flat. The Titan-Up 5K is an annual fundraiser for Wayne School of Engineering organized by the WSE PTO to purchase classroom materials and to support student scholastic and athletic activities. The 11th annual Home Run 5K supports the children served through various Children’s Home programs. The Free Will Baptist Children’s Home provides caring, supportive homes for youth in and aging out of foster care in our Alternative Family Placement, Family Foster Care & Adoptions, and Thrive Independent Living programs. The course starts and ends in the center of campus, taking runners through the campus and surrounding farmland and consists of several small hills. The Chowan County Sheriff’s Office is thrilled to host our upcoming Kids and Cops: Glow Run! This exciting event is all about giving back to the children in our community and strengthening the bond between local law enforcement and our youth. The Kids and Cops program, established in 2012, was created to build lasting, positive relationships through mentorship, summer camps, and community events. Over the years, it has become a cornerstone for connecting officers and kids in meaningful ways. Our 5K will light up the night with a fun glow run experience!
