Race Description  Join us on October 31th, 2026, for a scenic run through the Southern Kettle Moraine Forest on the historic Ice Age Trail. Participants can choose between 100k and 50k distances. Each finisher will have the opportunity to brand their wooden medal on-site, with the option to have their finishing time burned on the back. A winter tradition returns as the Milwaukee County Zoo commemorates the annual Samson Stomp. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to join in this popular event, honoring one of the Zoo’s most famous and beloved residents, Samson, the silverback gorilla (1950-1981). Money raised from the event supports all the animals in the Zoo’s population. Entry fees include a long-sleeved T-shirt, Zoo admission, beverage, snack, and parking. After the event, participants are invited to enjoy the remainder of the day at the Zoo.
