K9 Freedom Pathways is a non-profit organization that rescues dogs, providing them with training, structure, and foster-to-adoption support to help them find permanent homes. Acting as the non-profit arm of K9 Freedom Professional Dog Training, they specialize in rehabilitating dogs, including those with high energy or behavioral issues, for active lifestyles.

The 21th Annual “Sarris Candies Run for Alex” will be in Bentleyville on June 6, 2026 at 9am. It is a great event consisting of a 5 mile run, 2 mile run and 1 mile fun walk. All races will begin and end in front of the Bentworth High School (150 Bearcat Drive, Bentleyville PA 15314). *There will be no race day registration. All participants must be registered by Friday June 5th, 2026. Online registration will close on Thursday June 4th at 11:59 pm. Late registration will be offered Friday night during packet pick up. $20 EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION Through April 30, 2026!  Quota of Indiana, PA is hosting its 10th Annual 5k fundraising event, both in-person and virtually. With over 50 active members, we have strived to benefit our community for the last 70 years. Quotarians are known especially for their service to deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech impaired individuals, and disadvantaged women and children. The Quota 5k Run/Walk is an event that promotes healthy living and the funds raised benefit our scholarships - the Gold Scholarship and the IUP Speech and Hearing Scholarship. The in-person 5K will take place at the Hoodlebug Trail on Saturday, June 6th. Day of registration begins at 8:00 AM with the race starting promptly at 9:00 AM. If you can't join us on race day, the virtual option will take place from June 6th - June 20th. Walkers or Runners can participate from any place at anytime they prefer between those dates. You can walk or run on a trail, a track or a treadmill - wherever you want!

The JR Taylor 5K is a family friendly event, run or walked on the Montour Trail.  It begins 800 feet north of the trail’s J. R. Taylor Memorial Bridge over Clifton Road in Bethel Park, near Washington Elementary School and Al's Cafe. We have special pricing of $15 for ages 17 and under! We have chipped timing, t-shirts, medals, snacks, and door prizes and more! Get ready to run the beautiful trails of Asbury Woods with our Into the Woods 5 Miler trail race.  In this 2nd race of the 2026 season, tackle the 5-mile competitive course that includes a mix of boardwalks, packed dirt trails and single track loops.   Get the kids in on the action with a kid’s fun run that is approximately 1/2 mile. This will be the 1st event in the Valley Running Club Festival of Races!!   All courses will be run out and back on the scenic Honey Hole Road.  Start and Finish is located at the Honey Hole Winery. The official Gun Start will be at 7:00 a.m. for the Half Marathon and 7:30 for the 5K & 10K Races. This race will be a challenging 5K run/walk in the Tamaqua Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua, PA. This will be an all thrills no frills run on the historic and scenic cemetery circa 1861 built on the side of a mountain. This cemetery is one of only 2 Victorian Garden cemeteries in Schuylkill County. The theme this year will be Red, White and Blue in honor of 250 years of America! Feel free to wear your best patriotic outfit to celebrate. There will be prizes for the top three runners and the best patriotic outfit. In Memory of Steve Fealtman: The Friends of Opossum Lake Conservancy (F.O.L.C) is honored to host this event in honor of Steve Fealtman.  Steve was a proud US Marine who served from 1981-1985.  He continued to serve his community by dedicating his time and serving on the board of F.O.L.C. for 10 years. He was an active outdoorsman who loved kayaking, hiking, biking, running and hunting  He spent countless hours enjoying nature and wildlife on the trails and water of Opossum Lake in Carlisle, PA. He also donated many hours of time working alongside volunteers on the Anglers Access Trail that surrounds the lake. In April 2019, Steve Fealtman suffered a fatal heart attack while training for a half marathon. His family, friends, comrades, and community know that Steve had always dreamed of organizing a run or hiking event around the lake.   We have organized this event to help achieve his dream and honor his legacy and name. Bashore Bash 6HR & 12 HR Ultra The course is located in the Blue Mountains on the trails of the Bashore Scout Reservation in northern Lebanon county. The trails consist of mostly single track technical trail with some double track. You will experience tree roots, rocks, dirt, mud, and all things nature as you wind your way through and around the trail. There will be plenty of shade. Loop distance will be determined closer to race depending on trail conditions  but will be around 3.5 miles depending on trail conditons. You get to choose how many loops you want to complete. Perfect for every level of runner!

The Watsontown JesVic 5K was started in 2007 by Shannon (Hoffman) Pyles and Suzie (Wade) Watts to honor two community women, Jessica Wade and Vicki Hitesman, who both passed away from cancer. Jessica was a blue-eyed, athletic 20-year-old, a graduate of Warrior Run High School, who pursued a college degree. Among her many goals was to run a marathon someday. The other—a former nurse who touched the lives of the patients and their families from her early days at Williamsport Hospital and Kramm’s Nursing Home. She was a survivor of Hodgkin’s disease. Her youngest son played baseball, her oldest ran cross country at Warrior Run. Vicki and her husband (who is also a runner) supported the cross-country team, and all their sons’ endeavors.Both had touched the lives of those in their community and in their workplace. The Wissahickon Trail Classic was established in 2006 to highlight Wissahickon Valley Park as one of the best trail running destinations on the East Coast. Get ready to lace up for our 2nd Annual [Un]Leash the Fun! This year, we aren't just running for fitness—we’re running for Mack (the good boy in the picture). 🌈If you knew Mack, you knew a dog who lived life to the fullest for 14 beautiful years. He was a connoisseur of extra-sharp cheese, a professional sun-soaker, and a world-class singer whenever the fire whistle blew. Whether he was cuddling a shark stuffie or enjoying his daily pup cup, Mack was the definition of "spoiled" in the best way possible. Mack’s family fought a brave battle alongside him against kidney disease—navigating special diets, IV fluids, and everything in between. While Mack eventually gained his wings, his legacy of joy and resilience stays behind. This year, every mile we clock honors Mack’s 14-year legacy and the incredible bond between a dog and his family. In Memory of Steve Fealtman: The Friends of Opossum Lake Conservancy (F.O.L.C) is honored to host this event in honor of Steve Fealtman.  Steve was a proud US Marine who served from 1981-1985.  He continued to serve his community by dedicating his time and serving on the board of F.O.L.C. for 10 years. He was an active outdoorsman who loved kayaking, hiking, biking, running and hunting  He spent countless hours enjoying nature and wildlife on the trails and water of Opossum Lake in Carlisle, PA. He also donated many hours of time working alongside volunteers on the Anglers Access Trail that surrounds the lake. In April 2019, Steve Fealtman suffered a fatal heart attack while training for a half marathon. His family, friends, comrades, and community know that Steve had always dreamed of organizing a run or hiking event around the lake.   We have organized this event to help achieve his dream and honor his legacy and name. The Greenfield Glide runs through a hilly Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The race begins and ends at the turn-around on Overlook Drive by the Oval Park Shelter, after taking a running tour of the beautiful trails of Schenley Park through the majority of the course. Presented by the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events in partnership with the Greenfield Community Association.

Philly Run Fest is a 5K/10K/15K road race through beautiful Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. With 3 distances to choose from, there is a run for everyone! Whether you ride to honor someone still fighting or to remember a loved one gone too soon, you're carrying their spirit with you on every mile of this journey. For over 50 years, the ACS Bike-A-Thon: Bridge to the Beach has been more than a ride it's been a movement. A movement that's saved lives, sparked breakthroughs, and restored hope.  On June 7, 2026, our fight continues. To get this year's shirt you must be registered by May 21st. Then entries will receive shirts from the past races and some extra 2026 shirts. There is no dates on the shirts by the way.  Race is located at the McDanel's Boat Launch at Moraine State park,  McDanels Road, Portersville,Pa. 16051.  Proceeds go to (PACFI) Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis Inc.  The race is entirely on the paved bike path with a out and back course.  Packet pickup starts at 7:00 am up till you start. Half marathon starting time is 8:30 am The 5k starting time is 9:00 am.   There are 3 water stops on the course for the half marathon. One at the 5k turn around ( 1.55 miles in ) , Half Marathon turn around 6.55 miles in , and once again at the 5k turn around 11.55 miles in.  There is bathrooms at the start/finish line area and one out on the course near mile 5. Join us Sunday, June 7th, 2026, at 9:00 AM for the 6th Annual Stride for Pride 5K Run in partnership with Action Together NEPA.  We will be running on the beautiful Lackawanna River Heritage Trail on Olive Street in Scranton, PA. Can't make it on race day?  We will also be hosting a Virtual 5K.  Run any time on Friday or Saturday, and submit your results to our timing friends at Scranton Running Company.  The virtual race will be scored, and the results will be displayed by Monday, June 8th.
