The 28th annual Tortoise and Hare 5K is a long-standing favorite 5K in the Lehigh Valley. Each Memorial Day runners gather at Wind Gap Memorial Park to kick-off their holiday celebration.  The rolling course will start near the park and finish up with a great food spread!  Registration includes a short-sleeved shirt if registered by May 8th. It is an opportunity for children to have fun, learn life skills, meet other burn survivors, and process the trauma of their injury in a supportive environment. A Summer Biathlon is Cross Country running combined with Rifle Marksmanship   The 6K running race is divided into three parts:   First: The timing starts with waves of one or two runners leaving the start line every minute and running an approximately 1-mile loop. As you approach the shooting range at the end of the first running loop, you will run into the range, catching your breath, lie down in the prone position and pick up an easy to use .22 caliber target rifle. You shoot 5 shots at 4.5-inch metal knock down targets 33 meters away. For each missed target you are required to run a 70-meter penalty loop after the shooting stop. If course conditions do not permit a penalty loop, 25 seconds will be added to the runners overall time for each target missed.      Second: After this first shooting stop, you run out of the range and run the same 1-mile loop again. What better way to celebrate the end of the school year than with a family-friendly color run? There will be one mile and 5K options, both filled with lots of color, water blasters, bubbles, and music! There will be a clock, but this is not an officially timed race. Check your time when you cross the finish line to see which wrestlers you were able to beat. Celebrate your finish with face painting and Kona Ice! All proceeds benefit the Fort LeBoeuf Girls Wrestling team. One of the toughest and most beautiful courses you’ll find anywhere!The Worlds End Ultramarathon is a challenging foot race that explores the Loyalsock Trail, Loyalsock State Forest and Worlds End State Park in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. The routes are largely rugged, scenic-dense single-track trails with some fairly remote sections, several waterfalls and multiple vistas of the beautiful Endless Mountains. The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources describes Worlds End State Park as "virtually in a class by itself, this wild, rugged and rustic area seems almost untamed." One of the toughest and most beautiful courses you’ll find anywhere!The Worlds End Ultramarathon is a challenging foot race that explores the Loyalsock Trail, Loyalsock State Forest and Worlds End State Park in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. The routes are largely rugged, scenic-dense single-track trails with some fairly remote sections, several waterfalls and multiple vistas of the beautiful Endless Mountains. The PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources describes Worlds End State Park as "virtually in a class by itself, this wild, rugged and rustic area seems almost untamed." This is NOT a beginner-level ultra and participation in the race should not be taken lightly. 100k Course DescriptionThe course is predominantly rugged single-track that winds it's way through the the Endless Mountains in the Loyalsock State Forest and Worlds End State Park. America250PA  Fun 5K Walk/Run along the Susquehanna River in quaint McElhattan PA Profits will go to  Wayne Township Recreation Committee, which funds projects at the Wayne Township Nature Park and other parks located in Wayne Township in Clinton County PA. The parks provide walking paths and covered pavilions along with parking and bathroom availability during the  regular season. The Rec Committee organizes Easter and Christmas events, Halloween fun and hayrides, and other celebrations throughout the year to local residents. This event is in conjunction with the America250PA celebration.

A Run Through the ‘Woods’ is fun neighborhood road race fundraiser for Hoover Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) in the Mt. Lebanon School District, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The run/walk takes place at the elementary school.  The course goes through the scenic (and hilly) Cedarhurst Manor neighborhood of Mt. Lebanon hitting many of the ‘wood’ named streets.  The event is competitive and fun for all ages and abilities. We offer a 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk, Live Age group awards as well as sponsor filled goodie bags, photographers and water on the course, custom finisher medals, fun raffle baskets, and snacks at the finish line! Medical staff, and a police officer will be on site for the safety of all participants. Hoover Elementary PTA strives to enhance the school experience for all students.  The purpose of this event is to raise money to support educational programs throughout the year.  We thank you for your support!

CELEBRATE 24 YEARS OF RUNNING WITH US!! The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race is the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County. One visit to the Borough of Beaver and you’ll see why! Our scenic town boasts broad, tree-lined streets, thriving downtown, and lots of public parks. Beaver is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is named as a “Tree City USA”. A long stretch of the race course overlooks the majestic Ohio River.
