The Scot Trot 5K returns for its 7th year! Originally started by Sue Passaro, the race is now being put on by the Argyle chapters of Natural Helpers. All profits will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in honor of a former student. THE ROUTE The race will head left from the school lot until you hit Main St. You will take a right there. From there, you will take another right on Kinney until it meets with State Route 40. Then you're back to the parking lot and victory.

The 30th Annual Delhi Bridge Run

The Delhi Bridge Run is held annually on the first Saturday in June.   The 2026 race will be held on Saturday, June 6.     This features a 5k that starts and finishes in Hoyt Park in the middle of the Village. Parking will be available in the County parking lots behind 111 & 99 Main street.  Both parking lots are connected to the park by the river-walk trail for easy access.  The award ceremony will be held in the park immediately following the race.   Proceeds benefit scholarships to high school seniors graduating from schools in Delaware County, NY and a school or community group of their choice.

In 2004, Keith Nintzel was involved in a fatal car accident while returning to his senior year at Binghamton University after spending Thanksgiving with his family. In his honor, a scholarship fund was created at Sayville High School for graduating seniors. They came out for Rochester Hearing & Speech Center’s annual Super Hear-O 5K, an event to celebrate the superheroes making a difference in the lives of individuals with hearing health needs and children with developmental disabilities served through our nonprofit mission of “Communication for Life.” At RHSC, we provide both hearing health testing and treatment for individuals of all ages, but we also provide Early Intervention and Preschool Developmental Services to our youngest and most vulnerable children, many of whom are currently on the waitlist for Early Intervention services in Monroe County. It's been fun to offer our returners new courses and formats which have highlighted different parts of Ithaca and its surrounding communities. And, first timers, what hopefully will be another day running one of the most beautiful and finest half marathons in the Country. 2025 will be no different. Here's what we're planning: We'll again start stage from Trumansburg High School, with a Start line on South St. From South St, runners will take a left onto Main St to start a weave through downtown Trumansburg's rolling before beginning to head for Ithaca. They'll pass through the upper tip of Taughannock Falls State Park before reaching the head of the Black Diamond Rail Trail. From there it'll be a steady descent along the hard packed gravel surface to arrive back in Ithaca. Tunnel to Towers Tower Climb New York City

Since 2015, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Tower Climb NYC has been held at One World Observatory, One World Trade Center in New York City. 1,250 participants climb 104 stories, symbolizing strength, hope, and the resiliency of the American spirit. The event celebrates the life and sacrifice of all 9/11 heroes, including FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and FDNY Captain Billy Burke. On September 11, 2001, Stephen Siller, a FDNY firefighter assigned to Brooklyn’s Squad 1, had just finished his shift and was on his way to play golf with his brothers. He suddenly got word over his scanner that an airplane had hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Robert J. Aaron Memorial Mighty Montauk Triathlon /Aquabike and Sprint

Founded in 1982 by the late Robert J. Aaron.   CELEBRATING 45 YEARS....... Long considered one of the east end season openers, the RJA Memorial is one of the longest, continuous triathlons on Long Island!  We will be celebrating our 45th anniversary this year.  Since Robert's death in 2002, the race has been used as a fund raiser for pancreatic Cancer Research, supporting the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer. The  Olympic race consists of a 1-mile swim, 20-mile bike and 6.2 miles run. The Aquabike consists of the 1-mile swim and 20-mile bike. The recently added Sprint triathlon consists of a 1/2-mile swim, 14-mile bike and 3.8-mile run. The Olympic race/Aquabike  goes off at 7:30am and the Sprint follows at approximately 8 am.
