Washed Clean 5k run, mile walk and kids 1/4 mile fun run is a trail run at Genesis Church. Runners will run around the church’s beautiful property and cross the finish line to a fun foam finish!  This event is a final project for STEAM co-op’s 7-12 grades Health and Fitness class.   All proceeds of this event benefit Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op (25%) and Katallasso (75%).  Katallasso Family Health Center is a faith-based, non-profit, charitable healthcare center that provides high-quality, licensed services to the uninsured of York County.  Katallasso Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op is a parent ran and self-sufficient co-op that is done through Genesis Church’s kids ministry. The goal of STEAM is to provide our children with educational opportunities that promote academic excellence as well as spiritual development. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Glatfelter Branch YMCA.     The race begins at the Arthur J. Glatfelter Branch YMCA, 90 N. Newberry St, York, PA 17401 and ends at Lafayette Plaza in the heart of the City of York. The flat course begins on city streets and transitions to the York County Heritage Rail Trail for the remainder of the race. NOM-York’s 5K was created to raise funds to support our mission – to provide awareness, education and support to those affected by substance use disorder and addiction – as well as to provide a gathering opportunity for the recovery community. At our event, we remember those we have lost to addiction and honor those fighting for recovery.  Our 5K is not like others. It is not a highly competitive event. Although we do our best, we sometimes start the race a little late, and we have hiccups along the way. If you are a serious runner, this may not be the event for you.

3rd Annual Color Run/Walk around Central York High School in honor of Erin Walker. Erin was an amazing teacher at Central York High school and would want nothing more than to give back to the students. All proceeds benefit scholarships for Central York students continuing higher education.  About the 3 mile course: The course follows a 2 lap route around Central York High School. A majority of the course is on pavement, but there will be a section of grass with a small incline to keep the course exciting. Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026 for Fleet Feet's half marathon, presented by HOKA!  The race will start and end at John Rudy Park and will travel along the scenic Heritage Rail Trail. The race will start at 8:00 a.m. and the course will remain open for four hours. Each participant will receive a customized shirt and a spinner medal. Refreshments will be provided. Award presentations will start at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Hemlock pavilion in John Rudy Park!  The top three male and female finishers in each age group will receive an award.
