Washed Clean 5k run, mile walk and kids 1/4 mile fun run is a trail run at Genesis Church. Runners will run around the church’s beautiful property and cross the finish line to a fun foam finish!  This event is a final project for STEAM co-op’s 7-12 grades Health and Fitness class.   All proceeds of this event benefit Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op (25%) and Katallasso (75%).  Katallasso Family Health Center is a faith-based, non-profit, charitable healthcare center that provides high-quality, licensed services to the uninsured of York County.  Katallasso Genesis STEAM homeschool co-op is a parent ran and self-sufficient co-op that is done through Genesis Church’s kids ministry. The Big A 50K Course The course is composed of three 10.35 mile loops starting at the summit of Mount Agamenticus (Big A) and climbing back up the Big A and going over Second Hill and Third Hill and back up the Big A. There are opportunities to cross the finish line at approximately 10 miles and 13 miles (or any multiple of them up to 31 miles/50K). The terrain is mostly single track with some dirt road and ATV-type trails. Footing is technical with plenty of rocks, roots, and elevation changes. Trail running shoes are recommended. The full 50K has approximately 5,787 feet of elevation gain. Glatfelter Branch YMCA.     The race begins at the Arthur J. Glatfelter Branch YMCA, 90 N. Newberry St, York, PA 17401 and ends at Lafayette Plaza in the heart of the City of York. The flat course begins on city streets and transitions to the York County Heritage Rail Trail for the remainder of the race. NOM-York’s 5K was created to raise funds to support our mission – to provide awareness, education and support to those affected by substance use disorder and addiction – as well as to provide a gathering opportunity for the recovery community. At our event, we remember those we have lost to addiction and honor those fighting for recovery.  Our 5K is not like others. It is not a highly competitive event. Although we do our best, we sometimes start the race a little late, and we have hiccups along the way. If you are a serious runner, this may not be the event for you.

3rd Annual Color Run/Walk around Central York High School in honor of Erin Walker. Erin was an amazing teacher at Central York High school and would want nothing more than to give back to the students. All proceeds benefit scholarships for Central York students continuing higher education.  About the 3 mile course: The course follows a 2 lap route around Central York High School. A majority of the course is on pavement, but there will be a section of grass with a small incline to keep the course exciting. York Parks & Recreation and York Rotary are happy to announce the 2026 Annual Four on the 4th Road Race in York, Maine!  Registration opens on February 1st, 2026, at 8:00am and stays open until July 1st, 2026, at 11:59pm or until filled, whichever comes first. The race is limited to 1,000 participants so register early! Those who have registered by June 1st will be guaranteed a free race shirt. Beyond June 1st, shirts will be given upon availability. York Parks & Recreation are happy to announce the 2026 Annual York Days 5k Road Race in York, Maine!  The fourth race in the Seacoast Road Race Series, this 5K is part of the Annual York Days Celebrations. This race benefits youth programming throughout York. Registration opens on February 1st, 2026, at 8:00am. Those who register by June 1st will be guaranteed a free race shirt in their requested size. Beyond June 1st, shirts will be given upon availability. Participants may pick up their race shirt and bib on race day, Sunday, August 9th. The race begins at 8am sharp and day-of bib and shirt pick up opens at 7:00am.THERE WILL BE AN EARLY BIB PICK UP OPPORTUNITY ON AUGUST 8TH. Join us Saturday, September 19th for the Mt A Trail Challenge! We're excited to have you join us at the summit of Mount Agamenticus for the 10th Annual Mt. A Trail Challenge! The 5K begins at 9 AM and the 1 Mile starts at 9:20 AM. Run, hike, roll or stroll through either our 1 Mile or 5K course. This challenge is timed the good ol’ fashioned way with stop watches, thanks to our local York Highschool Cross Country Team. There are no traditional age category prizes, but there will be a raffle for all participants! As always, all funds raised go right back into Mount A conservation & education efforts. Thank you for your continued support! This year, any previous participants who beat their own personal Trail Challenge record can receive a Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region logo pin!
