The Big A 50K Course The course is composed of three 10.35 mile loops starting at the summit of Mount Agamenticus (Big A) and climbing back up the Big A and going over Second Hill and Third Hill and back up the Big A. There are opportunities to cross the finish line at approximately 10 miles and 13 miles (or any multiple of them up to 31 miles/50K). The terrain is mostly single track with some dirt road and ATV-type trails. Footing is technical with plenty of rocks, roots, and elevation changes. Trail running shoes are recommended. The full 50K has approximately 5,787 feet of elevation gain. Special Thanks to Our Lead Sponsor: The Wladis Family Come out and join the FUN by running or walking with York Hospital on Saturday, JUNE 6, 2026! Follow our race course over the iconic Wiggly Bridge, along the beautiful York River, through Steedman Woods, past the York Golf & Tennis Club - and back to the hospital campus in town. Special prizes will be presented to the top male and female winners in each division and healthy snacks and refreshments – fruit, granola bars and water - will be provided to all.  Children (and parents!) are encouraged to participate. Registration fees are $25 (14 & older), $10 (13 & under), and $50 (families/groups up to 5 participants). These fees apply to both pre-reg and race day registration for the race on June 6, 2026. Race Day Registration: York Hospital will CLOSE registration at 3pm on THURSDAY, JUNE 4. Paper registration forms will be available for cash, check or credit card payments for race day registrants on Saturday, June 6. There

York Parks & Recreation and York Rotary are happy to announce the 2026 Annual Four on the 4th Road Race in York, Maine!  Registration opens on February 1st, 2026, at 8:00am and stays open until July 1st, 2026, at 11:59pm or until filled, whichever comes first. The race is limited to 1,000 participants so register early! Those who have registered by June 1st will be guaranteed a free race shirt. Beyond June 1st, shirts will be given upon availability. NO DAY OF REGISTRATION AVAILABLE! All registrations must be completed by July 1st at 11:59pm! Those participating in the race on July 4th will pick-up their bib and shirt that morning, at York High School between 6:30am-7:25am. The race begins at 7:30am sharp. Early bib pick up will be available at YHS on July 3rd from 3:00pm-5:00pm. This is the 47th Annual Four on the 4th and we hope you join us! Thank you again for your support!

York Parks & Recreation are happy to announce the 2026 Annual York Days 5k Road Race in York, Maine!  The fourth race in the Seacoast Road Race Series, this 5K is part of the Annual York Days Celebrations. This race benefits youth programming throughout York. Registration opens on February 1st, 2026, at 8:00am. Those who register by June 1st will be guaranteed a free race shirt in their requested size. Beyond June 1st, shirts will be given upon availability. Participants may pick up their race shirt and bib on race day, Sunday, August 9th. The race begins at 8am sharp and day-of bib and shirt pick up opens at 7:00am.THERE WILL BE AN EARLY BIB PICK UP OPPORTUNITY ON AUGUST 8TH. Be on the lookout for more information about early bib pick up as we approach race day! THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. All registrations must be complete by July 31st! Join us Saturday, September 19th for the Mt A Trail Challenge! We're excited to have you join us at the summit of Mount Agamenticus for the 10th Annual Mt. A Trail Challenge! The 5K begins at 9 AM and the 1 Mile starts at 9:20 AM. Run, hike, roll or stroll through either our 1 Mile or 5K course. This challenge is timed the good ol’ fashioned way with stop watches, thanks to our local York Highschool Cross Country Team. There are no traditional age category prizes, but there will be a raffle for all participants! As always, all funds raised go right back into Mount A conservation & education efforts. Thank you for your continued support! This year, any previous participants who beat their own personal Trail Challenge record can receive a Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region logo pin!
