The Toledo Mini Marathon is a scenic point-to-point half marathon starting in the uptown district of Maumee, Ohio, voted the best hometown in Ohio. Run through residential Historic Maumee homes, past the Toledo Country Club, the Toledo Zoo, and into downtown Toledo along the new Riverfront path. Finish at the highly acclaimed Ribbon at the Glass City Metropark.

On June 17th, 2018, Our Lord, who art in Heaven, received the greatest Father’s Day gift of all time. This world lost a best friend, co-pilot, treasure hunter, adventurer, partner-in-crime, artist,  hero, cancer-fighter and all around rock-star kid. Christian James Albain, 10, of Toledo, OH,  passed away in the arms of his loving parents after a valiant battle with leukemia at Nationwide  Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH.  He was born August 23, 2007 in Toledo, OH to Christopher Albain and Brittney Styer. Christian  came into this world with a natural kindness and the ability to make friends with everyone he met. He loved his family, above all else, and will always be idolized by his siblings, cousins and numerous other family and friends. Christian’s superpower was having a heart big enough to fit everyone he knew. Christian will always be our "Little Hero" and this annual memorial event will be held to forever honor Christian's life.

Toledo Roadrunners is excited to celebrate 50 years in 2026! We will have a booth at this year's Mercy Health Glass City Marathon Expo.  What: We invite you to volunteer to help staff the TRRC booth on Friday, April 24, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Volunteer shifts are available for as little as 90 minutes, or you can choose to stay longer. The AUTISM WALK is the premier autism awareness event in Northwest Ohio and the primary fundraiser for the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio. The walk features family-friendly activities for children and access to local autism organizations in our resource area for families; and so much more!  EVERY DOLLAR raised at the event stays right here in our COMMUNITY to help us provide support, education, and advocacy to individuals, families, and professionals that work tirelessly to support individuals with Autism.  Our service area includes: Lucas, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, and Wood counties.  Day of registration and family-friendly activities begin at 9:00 am.  The walk will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Ride 1 of 3 in the Wheelie Good Cause ride series.  New this year!!! Choose one of 2 distances! An easy, 9 mile ride through South Toledo and Maumee, suitable for most ability levels. 21 mile route into Monclova with a little more character to the elevation... Riders looking for more of a workout who are comfortable on open roads should consider this option. Please note: this is an unsupported ride. Both routes will, at times, be on open roads with automobile traffic. Helmets are required and participants are expected to follow the rules of the road at all times.  A nice, cold beverage from the brewery is included upon your return! Dana Cancer Center are excited to invite the community to join us for our 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Sunday 10/18/26 from 10am to 12pm.  Friends and families are welcome to walk or run, either 1 mile loop or 3.1 Mile course, and everyone is encouraged to wear pink breast cancer awareness gear!  Hosted at the Eleanor N. Dana Cancer Center 1325 Conference Dr, Toledo Ohio, 43614 Mammogram screening information and other informational tables will be set up for participants from 9am to 10am, with the 5K and fun run starting at 10am on a timed 3.1 mile course through the beautiful UTMC Health Science Campus.

With media sponsor WTOL 11 in Downtown Toledo, the event also includes a one mile walk, a kids run and a virtual option -- all to benefit Cherry Street Mission Ministries. The 5K and 1 Mile events start outside the Glass City Center at Summit St./ Jefferson, heads past 5/3 Field, onto Huron St. passing by the Huntington Center and continues across Cherry St, then back onto Summit St. to the finish in front of Promenade Park.
