Talent Elementary School’s Outdoor Discovery Program (ODP) invites you to join us for an Earth Month 5K and 1-Mile run at Colver Fields on Saturday, April 25th!  While the event will not be a "mud run" in the traditional sense (as in we will not be creating mud obstacles), we do anticipate a muddy course due to April showers. All proceeds from this event will be used to facilitate learning opportunities for ODP students. Hope to see you all there!!

Rogue XC is a Southern Oregon Runners event for all ages!  Located in beautiful Talent, Oregon the 5k course traverses wood chip trail, grass and has a small hill, perfect for pushing your limits and trying to set a new personal record.  Grab some friends and come test your mettle in this all ages Cross Country race. Saturday, October 3, 2025, 8am start time 5k & 10k. TALENT CITY HALL. Course Details:  5k - Out and back with gradual inclines a declines. | 10k - Begins like the 5k and continues on to a challenging, hilly course with amazing views. (Exciting start with OUR proud Talent Police Officers escorting you through the course) Race Fees:  5k Registration is $15 for SOR Members | $20 for Non-SOR Members | 10k Registration is $20 for SOR Members | $25 for Non-SOR Members |Youth ages 18 and under run Free.  Early registration ends at noon on Friday, October 3rd.  Late entry and day of race entries will be 5k $30 | 10k $35 Packet Pick-up and Registration:  Race day from 7am-7:50am. Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include Shoes for Kids (provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes), KidsRunFree (provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under), and XC Project (provides timing support for schools during cross country season). When - November 26, 2025 Free Turkey Dash Kids Run( 8 and Under)8:00AM| 8 Mile Run 8:15AM|5k Run/Walk 8:30AM|2 Mile Family Run/Walk 8:40AM $20 for members| $25 for non members| Youth 18 and Under are free.
