Step Up 4 Kids

McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center's Step Up 4 Kids 5K & Kids Fun Run helps close out National Child Abuse Prevention month each April, taking place on the last Sunday of April each year. All funds raised through this event directly benefit local non-profit, McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center, who works hard to fight against child abuse in Onondaga County. The 10th annual Step Up 4 Kids will be on Sunday, April 26th at Middle Ages Brewing Company. Following the race, there will be an after party hosted with live music and food trucks. Join us for a morning of fun for the entire family! All participants get a bib tear-off coupon that gets them either a free beverage from Middle Ages Brewing Company  or a free ice cream cone from Gannon's! Countdown to One! Last Man Standing (Syracuse)

This unique challenge is for those dedicated runners that like to push themselves a bit more than others. As a Countdown to ONE participant you will run as many single miles as you can based on the time requirements for each. The course is a 1 mile loop. The start/finish for each mile is the same.  All participants receive a finisher medal. Here's how it works... Each mile must be completed in less than the required time to advance to the next mile.  If you fail to complete any of the miles in the allotted time you're out of the competition.  The first mile must be completed in 15 minutes or under, the second mile must be completed in 13 minutes or less, 3rd mile in 11 minutes or less, 4th mile in 10 minutes or less. These 4 miles make up the Bronze category.  You must complete all 4 miles under the time cut offs to earn a bronze pin that can be attached to your medal. The next wave would be the Silver category, 9 1/2, 9, 8 1/2 and 8 minute miles. You must complete all 8 miles

The Mountain Goat Run is a 10 Mile Syracuse tradition, open to participants of all ages. We have been conquering the hills of Syracuse for 47 years - bringing our community together each year. Parkview 3K Color Run

The Parkview Color Run is an event PERFECT for the whole family including veteran runners as well as those just beginning their fitness journey. The run consists of 3 loops around Burnet Park for a total distance of 3 kilometers. The course is very safe--closed to traffic with lots of supervision. Walk or run and be prepared to get messy as our color bombers douse participants with non-toxic, food-grade color dust.  The Color Run is a fundraiser for Parkview Junior Academy, a Christian grade school located across the street from Burnet Park. The proceeds of our event will go towards replacing our road-side sign which has been in disrepair for many years. Parkview's aim is to be a recognized place of exceptional learning in our community and an attractive, functioning sign will help us in this endeavor.

13th Annual PWP 5K

The PWP race committee is excited to hold the 12th annual PWP event on May 18, 2025. Proceeds will once again benefit the local and school community. Paige's Butterfly Run

Held in conjunction with the Taste of Syracuse, Paige's Butterfly Run brings runners and walkers from across Central New York to downtown Syracuse each year to participate in one of the region’s premier 5K races. STC Boilermaker Bus

The Syracuse Track Club is bringing back the Boilermaker bus again in 2026!   The perks: Bring food, clothes, and beverages with you.  Experience a relaxing ride to the start line, a change of clothes and your favorite snack waiting for you at the finish line.  Make new friends or reminisce with old friends before and after “Best 15k in the country” … as announced at the start of the race every year.  This has always been a great time with fond memories of post-race glory and lore.   Logistics: bus pickup is at 340 Montgomery St, Syracuse NY 13202 (in front of the downtown YMCA). Departing Syracuse at 5:45 heading to the start line, bus will drop off and wait at the start line until just before the start of the race.  Bus will reposition to the finish line awaiting your return with your “valuables” a board.  Departure is 1:00 from Utica.

2026 Syrathon Race Series

The Syracuse Parks Conservancy joins the Syracuse Parks Department to bring you Syrathon 2026!  SYRATHON brings together 8 established road races, all based in the City of Syracuse and spaced throughout the calendar year, into this unique road race series! Syrathon’s eight race routes showcase Syracuse’s incredible and historic parks systems as participants journey through a number of wonderful city neighborhoods. Since 2009, the Series has encouraged, for both beginners and seasoned runners, healthful physical activity year-round while promoting the sights and sounds of city life!    The Syrathon Series Challenge again will challenge registered participants to accumulate at least 26.2 race miles over the course of the Series. Battle of the Branches 5K (Syracuse)

Join us for the 3rd Annual Battle of the Branches 5K on Saturday November 7, 2026 ahead of the CNY Veterans Parade and Expo at the NY State Fairgrounds (Syracuse). Choose which Branch (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard or Space Force) team you want to run with. All participants will receive a custom Battle of the Branches shirt as well as a finisher Challenge Coin.
