We are excited for the 2026 Micah Rine Wildcat Legacy 5k -- now open for registration. After 15 years running, this will be the Final Lap -- no more Micah Races. So, join us on November 7 for a 5k or 1-mile run across the beautiful campus of Harding University. You can find all of the details here. All proceeds for this event go to support the Micah Rine Wellness Room, scholarship fund, and other programs at Harding Academy. It also supports the Micah Rine endowed Zeta Rho scholarship at Harding University.   Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, meet new people, and have fun! The Iron Bison 10K, hosted by the Harding Corps of Cadets, brings together Harding students, families, veterans, service members, and members of the Searcy community for a challenging, meaningful race. This 6.2-mile race is for competitive runners, walkers, and everyone in between! Proceeds from the Iron Bison 10K will support the Harding Corps of Cadets and its cadet activities, helping provide resources for training, leadership development, events, and other opportunities that prepare cadets for future service as Army officers. The race also provides an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Harding’s cadets and the surrounding community while promoting physical fitness and service. “Here am I. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8 Race Date: Saturday, February 20, 2027 Race Location: The race starts in front of First Security Stadium- 1529 E. Park Ave. Searcy, AR 72143 Start Time: 9:00 AM. Please arrive early! You will need time to park, pick up race packet, attach race bib and timing chip. Parking: There is ample parking in the First Security parking lot or across the street Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will begin at 8:00 AM in the First Security Stadium parking lot next to the race start. Each packet will include a race shirt. Participants also need to collect their race bib and timing chip at the table next to packet pickup. Restrooms are located near the facility’s concession area. Awards: There will be awards for the top 3 overall and the overall winner in each age group category: 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
