Walk for Words is more than just a 5k — it’s a movement toward inclusion, empowerment, and belonging. This community event is dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support individuals with disabilities by providing access to life-changing assistive technology. From mobility aids and communication devices to adaptive learning tools, your participation helps break down barriers and open doors to independence, education, and opportunity.

The Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City Foundation is proud to host the Women on the Move 5K Run/Walk at English Landing Park along the beautiful riverfront in Parkville, Missouri. Come join members of the legal community (women, men & children welcome) and help support AWLF's mission. All proceeds from this event will benefit AWLF, which is devoted to charitable and educational initiatives that improve the lives of women and girls in our community.

Equal Start invites you to participate in the 11th Annual Northland Mother's Day 5K. The event will raise money to purchase school supplies for eligible children.   Designed by Runners for Runners. Please join us for our 5th annual Race to Cure Sarcoma. This community event will feature a 5 K run/walk, a 1-mile kids' race, a 1-mile walk, awards, a DJ, Chris Cakes' pancake breakfast, adult & kids' beverages, and a raffle. We are thrilled about this year's event! The race officially starts at 9:00 AM on October 24th, but the DJ begins at 8:00, and race announcements start at 8:45. Packet Pickup - stay tuned for more details! If you cannot make packet pickup, no worries, we will be checking in participants on the morning of the race from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.
