The City of Norwalk will be kicking off its inaugural Bunny Hop 5K(3.1mile) run. We welcome runners of all levels to help kick off this new tradition to support the Norwalk Play and Learn Camps.  All net proceeds of this run will supplement our summer day camp activities, trips, entertainment and scholarships. Join Us! We have a great certified course right out of Calf Pasture Beach. Come as a group or come alone! Please note:  Dogs are not allowed.   The 5K race kicks off at 9:00 am with finish line party starting thereafter.  Brief award ceremony at 10:15 am. Festive attire encouraged! PLEASE NOTE:  New registrations online only.  Online registration will remain open until 15 minutes prior to race time but you must register online through your own device (via QR code). We will not be taking new registrations in person.  Once you register on your device, proceed to the packet pickup area to get your bib.  *T-Shirts are in limited supply and not guaranteed for registrants who sign up a

On May 16-17, 2026, the CACNA1A Foundation and families around the globe will be participating in the 6th Annual Virtual CACNA1A 5K Run, Walk, and Roll! Participate from Anywhere! We're back in June again - giving you extra time to train! All the same amenities - great course, shirts, raffle and the best post-race party in Fairfield County. Sweetheart discount entry fee through Valentine's Day, Luck of the Irish discount through St. Patrick's Day, then regular price through race day. If you can't make it physically, you can still join us from afar by participating in our Virtual 5K Run, 1 Mile walk, or 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run. Join us in running the 12th annual SoNo Half Marathon | 5K & Kids Fun Run Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at Veterans Park. Runners will enjoy a unique and exciting course through historic South Norwalk, along beautiful coastlines, down charming picturesque tree-lined streets, and past many of Norwalk’s notable landmarks and attractions. Race day kicks off at 8:30 AM with the start of the half marathon, which is immediately followed by the start of the 5K race.  The Kids Fun Run begins at 11:30 AM. All participants receive awesome race swag including a high quality performance shirt, multifunctional headwear, FREE race photos, and a brag worthy finisher’s medal.
