Welcome to Hair of the Dog 5K and Beer Mile! WHEN:Saturday, May 9th10:00 – 5K12:00 – Beer MILE 2:00 ish - Kids Donut Dash (this will take place after the Beer Mile so could start a little earlier or later than 2:00 depending on the number of participants). 3:00 – Wiener Dog Derbyand a full day of run, dogs, beer, and FUN! WHERE:Atypical Brewery & Barrelworks510 E Central Ave, Minot, NDWHY:We love running, dogs, and beer and we wanted turn those loves into a way to give back to the animal rescue organizations in our community.This race is fun and social and is NOT a qualifier for the World Championship (yes that’s a real thing).  EVENTS:5k Run/Walk and Dog Jog – This is a traditional 5K event and will be timed.  You can run it as fast as you can or jog/walk it for fun.  Feel free to bring your dog with you as this event is “for the dogs”, but dogs are not required!  All human participants will get a signature Hair of the Dog mug as well as a free post run beer at Atypical.   Beer Mi

Grab your family and/or friends and join us for a family friendly fun run starting at Leach Park!  All participants will receive a finisher medal. Shirts are available for $10.   All proceeds support Strides for Sunnyside Run Club.

The Scheels BurliMOT Half Marathon is a unique running event that showcases the beautiful communities of Burlington and Minot, ND by way of a scenic 13.1 mile course that follows the Souris Valley along dedicated running/biking paths. The race ends in downtown Minot.   All runners registered for the half marathon, half marathon relay, or 5K by September 1st will receive a custom BurliMOT shirt.   Medals will be also be provided for all half marathon, half marathon relay, and 5K finishers.  Races:Half Marathon - Starts in Burlington on Saturday, September 12th at 8:00am.  Shuttles will be available from downtown to get you to the start line.  Parking near the race start is located on the north side of the Sports Complex; please follow Colton Ave to Davis St North, then turn right onto Valley Ave. The race ends downtown Minot.Half Marathon Relay - This race starts at the same time as the Half Marathon and follows the same course.  Relay runners can exchange wherever they want along the c
