The Capitol City Crit is a closed-course criterium set against the iconic backdrop of the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds. Known for its fast corners and spectator-friendly layout, this event challenges racers to combine speed, tactics, and endurance in a tight, thrilling loop through the heart of Bismarck.   We’re keeping the extended 1.2-mile lap distance — offering racers more chances for attacks, strategy, and recovery. All races will run counter-clockwise, with the start/finish line located near the State Library on the east side of the course. Each race begins with a half-lap lead-in paced by an official.

Greg Grooters Memorial 5K & Kids Run

The Sheyenne High School Track & Field Team is proud to host the 10th Annual Greg Grooters Memorial Run on the streets of West Fargo on Saturday, May 9, 2026.Greg Grooters passed away in 2016 after battling cancer. He was a dedicated teacher, coach, and administrator within West Fargo Public Schools. As the first principal of Sheyenne High School, Greg took great pride in establishing the school and building traditions that continue to shape its culture today.Greg was also an avid runner and passionate supporter of track and cross country. He participated in countless road races and coached the West Fargo and Moorhead High School track and cross country teams to State Championships. 19th Annual Running of the Pink

To date, Running of the Pink has raised nearly $400,000 for cervical and breast cancer awareness and breast cancer research in the Jamestown, ND area.  Over $56,000 was raised in Running of the Pink 18, 2025 alone! 100% of Running of the Pink proceeds stay LOCAL! We foot the bill for all race costs so that your registration fees, sponsorships and donations can go where they are needed, to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, No Excuses and Central Valley Health Women's Way programs. The Scheels BurliMOT Half Marathon is a unique running event that showcases the beautiful communities of Burlington and Minot, ND by way of a scenic 13.1 mile course that follows the Souris Valley along dedicated running/biking paths.
