The Event Join us for a morning of fun, and to support Sean's fund, with an untimed 5k Walk/Run at Grace Bible Church.  5k too much?  There will be a turnaround point halfway if you get there and don't think you can finish the full 5k.  Come on out and join us as we support Sean and his family. T-Shirts are available as an optional donation until 3/22. If you can't participate you can still donate by selecting the T-Shirt Only event or using the Donations links on this page. Why we are having this event Sean Couch is battling Pancreatic Cancer. He was Diagnosed in August of 2024. In addition to his ongoing cancer treatments, Sean is in need of Vitamin C infusions (not covered by insurance) to help build his immune system and improve his strength and recovery as he continues to fight. A staple of the Lum and Abner Festival every June, Join us for the return of the Lum and Abner 5K and Fun Run in Mena, Arkansas! AWARDS!There will be awards for top overall male and female finisher! Additionally, there will be awards for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups:10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ EXTRAS!Every runner will receive a T-Shirt and finishers medal! Come for the race, stay for the Festival!

Fundraising event for Grace Bible Church Missions Team

Run for Your Life 5K & Fun Run Join us for the Run for Your Life 5K and Fun Run in Mena, Arkansas! We’ll kick things off with a timed, competitive 5K for runners who want to test their pace, followed by a non-competitive fun run/walk that’s perfect for families and casual participants. Costumes are highly encouraged—show off your creativity as we celebrate fall fun in our community! 📍 The race will take place on Saturday, October 31st, at 9:00 AM at Janssen Park, following the same scenic route as the Lum & Abner 5K. Adults must register to participate, but children under 12 are admitted free of charge. Register online or in person on October 31st.
