Take on the America 250 Challenge and celebrate your accomplishment of the Challenge on the 250th anniversary celebration of the United States!  Challenge participants will seek to complete 250 miles of intentional running and walking between the start of the Challenge on March 1 and the completion date in July 4! Participants can track their progress on Strava, if they choose, with the America 250 Challenge group and support one another as they pursue their goal! Registration for the Challenge is just $10. Participants who complete their Challenge will receive a custom America 250 Challenge medal and can also choose to add a custom challenge shirt to their Challenge registration for just $12!

Register for the 15th Annual MGA’s Triple Crown Showdown 5k, Mile Mosey & Tot Trot to help support the lives of those affected by Myasthenia Gravis, their families and friends in their communities through support groups, clinics, new patient packets, 1-1 consultations, research, education and awareness events. The MGA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those who are affected by this rare autoimmune, neuromuscular disease. In over 15 years, the Triple Crown Showdown has raised more than $600,000. Thank you for your continued support & partnership!

Join us and beat the heat this summer at our Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics. This event is presented by the Leawood Police Department, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas, and features a fast course through the streets of Leawood. Your participation will help raise money for Special Olympics and finishers in both the 5K and 10K Run/Walk will receive a custom finishers medal! Due to limitations on road closures, the 10K is a run only event with a one hour and 15 minute time limit.  Please don't choose the 10K if you are not able to meet the 10K limit as the roads will be reopened.

Leawood Rotary Labor Day 5K: Join us this Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2026 for the Leawood Rotary Labor Day 5k, Leawood Rotary’s annual charity fund-raiser. All net proceeds go to local and international charities.  The race will start & finish at American Academy of Family Physicians, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood, Kansas. The course will be flat and fast.  Participants will receive an event shirt, finisher’s medal, cooling towel, post-event snacks/refreshments and more!

The Patriots Run was founded in 2002 in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks on America. The purpose of this multi-race event is to thank and honor all who serve; our military, fire, police, first responders, and their families. It is a race created by patriots, for patriots, supporting those who daily sacrifice for the freedom and safety we enjoy in our great country. Proceeds from the Patriots Run will provide Folds of Honor scholarships to families of fallen or disabled service members.
