Mission 500 is excited to be hosting the Security 5K/2K once again during ISC West 2026, where we look forward to welcoming past sponsors, participants, and new supporters who share our commitment to a meaningful cause.  When you register to run (or walk!), know you are making a difference in the lives of children and families across the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from the Venetian Expo Taxi Ramp off the Level 1 Lower Lobby. The first shuttle bus will depart at 6:15 am and the last one will depart at 7:00 am. The shuttle buses departing back to the expo hall will leave as they fill up from the race.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Theta Theta Omega Chapter, and Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. have partnered to host this 5K Run/Walk event. The Las Vegas Kids Triathlon has relocated to Cowabunga Canyon Water Park with the swim in the lazy river!  With over 150 kids, ages 6-17 crossing the finish line last year, get energized and join us for a unique race experience at the water park!   7055 S Fort Apache Rd. Sawmill UltraTaking place in the Humbolt-Toiyabe National Forest, this will be an epic adventure you don't want to miss!! We are hosting a solo or relay race option in gorgeous Lee Canyon, Mt. Charleston. There are 3 loops to run; (this is approximate mileage) loop one 5.64, loop two 8.2, and loop three, 4.3 miler. We have a solo 38.45m, 26.2m, 19.23m, 13.1m, 10k, and 5k option. We also have the relay option where all loops must be completed by the full team and each team member picks the loop that they want to run. The team member will finish 1 loop and then tag out to the next runner until all 3 loops are completed. This is a total of 19.22 miles, or 38.45 miles when doing the course twice as a team! Back by popular demand, and reincarnated in 2016 at a new venue to bring you a new challenge! Pure Mojave Desert running at its finest! Come join us on this PAVED and scenic course which covers rolling terrain. Commencing at an elevation of roughly 4500 feet, runners will experience high desert vegetation to include Joshua Trees, Pinion-Juniper, Mountain Rose, Sagebrush, and a relatively lush Toiyabe National Forest not commonly associated with Las Vegas. The road twists and turns thru the canyon; a true treasure of the Spring Mountains N.R.A. enjoying temperatures ~10 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley. Still an extreme heat race, expect daytime highs ~95- 100 degrees and overnight lows ~75. On course provisions will help keep you cool! This running festival offers something for everyone! Over the years, one of my favorite times at our Running with the Devil extreme heat race in late June is when the sun sets, and the night air just beckons you to be outside and run! Devil After Dark brings you that magic with a late summer evening run. Commencing just before sunset, run through Lovell Canyon while enjoying the stunning sunset as day falls into night. Sun is replaced by stars and moonlight lights the way. The omnipresence of the surrounding canyon under the moonlit starry night is magical! Pinion Juniper trees dance in the shadows and the neon lights of Las Vegas are just minutes away. An enchanted late summer evening run. *This event is held on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, under a special use permit.

Enjoy the stunning views of Red Rock Canyon while helping us preserve and protect your beautiful public lands!   Tortoise Trot 5K Walk/Run A 5k-ish trail run/walk starting and finishing at the Visitor Center, the scenic Tortoise Trot course gives you a 360 degree view of one of Southern Nevada’s most spectacular vistas. Part road, part trail, this event encompasses the Moenkopi loop and will be scenic and fun for the whole family. Participants 5 to11 years old must be accompanied by an adult for safety.  No on-course jogging strollers or dogs are permitted. The run is not timed and is limited to 300 runners or walkers, so register early and save your spot for a memorable morning in the canyon!      Tortoise Trail Run (17K) New this year, the Tortoise Trail Run is a 17K trail run starting and finishing at the Visitor Center.
