Parrie Haynes Ranch in Central Texas isn’t only a beautiful, scenic place to ride horses and mules; it’s also a challenging and breath-taking trail system for trail runners! With rolling hills, stream crossings, pastures and a section that runs up along the Lampasas River, you’ll be enjoying the hill country with a bunch of amazing fellow trail runners!The race day will be concluded with our first annual beer mile! The beer mile isn’t for the faint of heart but will include a series of drinking 4 twelve-ounce beers and running 4 quarter-mile loops around the camp meadow. As long as you’re 21 or older, you can join in the fun! Are you up for the challenge?The weekend isn’t only about these trail races! We will also have food trucks, a beer trailer on the property in the afternoon and into the evening!

PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY INC, THETA DELTA SIGMA CHAPTER MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS 5K RUN/WALK Join us at our Annual 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health Awareness and Wellness! We are raising funds to support our scholarship fund as well as the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). This fundraiser will help provide scholarships to High School students that will be attending college. It also provides funds in support of NAMI which provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. Join us for the Kecia L. Davis Memorial 5K Walk/Run, a meaningful community event honoring the life, leadership, and legacy of Coach Kecia L. Davis while raising awareness about Uterine Cancer and women’s health. This event brings together families, teams, schools, churches, organizations, runners, and walkers of all ages to walk or run with purpose. Every step taken supports scholarships for young women pursuing higher education and helps elevate awareness around uterine cancer—represented by the peach/coral ribbon, a symbol of hope, education, and advocacy. Whether you choose to run, walk, or cheer others on, this 5K is about more than distance. It is about legacy, empowerment, and community impact.

Where Family, Freedom, and Community Come Together Celebrate Juneteenth at the 6th Annual Cen-Tex Juneteenth Freedom Run 5K, hosted by the Innovation Black Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme, Family Rooted in Tradition, honors the generations who paved the way for opportunity while bringing today’s families and communities together in celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress. This annual race is more than a run. It is a community movement. Proceeds from the race support the Juneteenth Relief Grant, a program designed to provide financial assistance to Black-owned businesses across Central Texas. This grant initiative was created to help strengthen local entrepreneurship and support business owners facing financial challenges. Grant applications are submitted by local business owners and reviewed by a community selection committee, which determines which businesses will receive funding made possible through the support of runners, walkers, sponsors, and community partners. Texas Heat is on the top this year! Do you dare to challenge it at the Caliente Off Road 5K? This race is part of the Centex Race Series. We are featuring a new course! The run will be a cross country style off road course throughout Long Branch Park. All runners will receive points. The first 120 runners to register are guarantee a t-shirt and a race bag.  Awards will be given to the overall male & female, and to the top three male & female winners of each age group. T-shirts will be given to all of those pre-registered. Limit t-shirts will be available onsite.

This is a fun community run/walk/ride event to raise health awareness through providing health assessments, music, healthy snacks and fun giveaways. This event is being hosted by Agape Church of God in Christ Holistic Ministry. All proceeds will be invested back into the Cereni-Te Supervised Independent Living. Come out and have some fun as we take our health back. Bring your family, friends, and even your pets.

Come run or walk a 5K at Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen and help raise funds for the Food Care Center in Killeen.  The Food Care Center provides food to over 2000 people per week; 50% of these are children. This race is part of the Cen-Tex Series!

Come celebrate the holiday season with us at the Jingle Bell Dash 5K. This race is part of the Centex Race Series. All runners will receive points and we will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for each female/male age group and female/male overall winners. Packets may be picked up ahead of race day from 8am-8pm December 3-4 at the Family Recreation Center, 1700 E Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen.  T-shirts guaranteed to the 1st 200 runner's that pre-registered T-shirts are limited on the day of the race. Race-day registration and packet pick-up will be from 7-7:45am at the race site on race morning.

Join Killeen Parks and Recreation in the only Half Marathon in the 2026 Centex Race Series.  All runners will receive points and we will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for each female/male age group and female/male overall winners. Packets may be picked up ahead of race day from 8am-8pm December 17 & 18 at the Family Recreation Center, 1700 E Stan Schlueter Loop, Killeen. From 0800-2000 hrs  T-shirts guaranteed to the first 100 runners. Race-day registration and packet pick-up will be from 7-7:45am at the race site on race morning. There will be a four-hour time limit for the Half Marathon.
