Juneteenth 5K - Family Rooted in Tradition 2026

Where Family, Freedom, and Community Come Together Celebrate Juneteenth at the 6th Annual Cen-Tex Juneteenth Freedom Run 5K, hosted by the Innovation Black Chamber of Commerce. This year’s theme, Family Rooted in Tradition, honors the generations who paved the way for opportunity while bringing today’s families and communities together in celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress. This annual race is more than a run. It is a community movement. Proceeds from the race support the Juneteenth Relief Grant, a program designed to provide financial assistance to Black-owned businesses across Central Texas. This grant initiative was created to help strengthen local entrepreneurship and support business owners facing financial challenges. Grant applications are submitted by local business owners and reviewed by a community selection committee, which determines which businesses will receive funding made possible through the support of runners, walkers, sponsors, and community partners.
