In Nepal's folklore, Yeti is an "abominable Snowman", who looks like an ape, is taller than an average human, and is believed to live in the Himalayas, Siberia, Central and East Asia. Yeti, during pre-19th century, has been believed to be a "Glacier Being" who was worshipped by the indigenous communities. As we crawl out of hibernation and look forward to another beautiful summer of miles, fun, exploration, accountability, races, beers, patios, paddle boarding, Formula 1, friendship, and everything else that comes with being a NoJo Rambler, it's time to officially kick of another Summer of Runs! The combined AFTROTC programs of Blue Springs, Grain Valley, and Fort Osage High Schools are hosting their first annual Bataan Memorial March.   Event will be held at Hodge Park in Kansas City, MO. The 2026 Rock the Parkway half marathon and 5K is Kansas City's largest half marathon and is run along Kansas City's favorite half marathon course on historic Ward Parkway!  Both events start and finish in front of the world headquarters of our host, Burns & McDonnell.  The half marathon race is run separately from the 5K which starts after the half marathon participants have departed the starting area.

Welcome to the Annual Military Matters VeteRUN 5k! Anyone can run/walk in support of Military Matters! Join KC Pet Project on Saturday, April 18, 2026 to compete in the KC Pet Project 5K! The race will take place in historic Swope Park, ending at our beautiful shelter!  All registrants will receive a race bib and commemorative race medal. The 38th Annual CCVI Trolley Run will return to the streets of Waldo, Brookside, and the Plaza on Sunday, April 26, 2026! The CCVI Trolley Run is the largest annual fundraiser for the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired. TOUR de HOPE Road is an uncommonly fun cycling event in Kansas City. This fully supported paved road ride offers three distance options for a wide range of ages and experience levels. The routes are designed to encourage riding together and offer optional KOM/QOM segments for those looking to add a little challenge to their day. The C26 Kansas City Triathlon is the largest and one of the most renowned triathlons in the region, attracting both novice and veteran triathletes. Presented by The Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City (BIAKS-GKC), the Memorial Day run is celebrating its 39th year. Formerly the Amy Thompson Run for Brain Injury, it is one of the oldest runs in the Kansas City area and attracts close to 1,000 runners and spectators of all ages each year.  The course begins and ends in beautiful Loose Park in Kansas City and goes through some historic neighborhoods surrounding the park.  All particpants receive a finishers medal and compete for age group and overall awards.  Custom event shirts can be added to your registration for an additional $7. Join us for a fun night on the track at the 2026 Kansas City Metro Mile Championships presented by KC Running Company, Mizuno, and B and B Race KC.  The KC Metro Mile Championships will pit top talent from the area against each other in one of the best competitions of the year!   The Kids Miles and new Community Mile are non-qualifier events and open to everyone.  The qualifier events have a limited number of entries available, this year we will separate out all entries in the qualifier events to create the best races possible, no race will have more than 24 entries.  Our goal is to have multiple divisions for High School Athletes.
