Maine Summer Adventure Race: 24-Hour

The Maine Summer Adventure Race is an annual event designed to showcase the most beautiful, interesting, and fun parts of Maine. Self-supported teams one to four travel nonstop on an unmarked, linear course via mountain bike, foot, and boat, navigating by map and compass. Adventure racing is the ultimate test of endurance, strategy, and teamwork, which is why this race is known as "The hardest day in Maine." The 24-hour race will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 and will end at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 12. Check-in and map hand-out begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Adventure racing is the ultimate test of endurance, strategy, and teamwork, which is why this race is known as "The hardest day in Maine." The 8-hour race will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 and will end at 4 p.m. Check-in and map hand-out begins at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Maine Summer Adventure Race: 3-Hour

Greenwood, ME
The Maine Summer Adventure Race is an annual event designed to showcase the most beautiful, interesting, and fun parts of Maine. The 3-hour race is a great introduction to the sport, geared towards families and beginners. The 3-hour event is a foot- and bike-only event with no paddling in and around Greenwood, Maine. Biking will be on paved road and dirt trail surfaces. It is family-friendly and appropriate for racers of all ages. Teams should plan to bring bikes to the event. Bike trailers and kids seats are welcome!  The 3-hour race will begin at 12:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. Check-in and map hand-out begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
