River Valley Crawfish Festival 5K & 10K

The Sebastian County Fair Association is hosting a fund raising 5K and 10K for Sebastian County Fair Jr. Livestock Auction.   It is part of the River Valley Crawfish Festival June 18-20th.  The Race is Saturday June 20th at 8 am.  It will start and end at the Sebastian County Fairgrounds, 530 East Knoxville St, Greenwood Ar. 72936 T-Shirts are provided for the first 100 to register.  The entry fee is $35 & $40.  Early entry fee is $25 & $30 ending June 6 at 12 A.M.

Maine Summer Adventure Race: 3-Hour

The Maine Summer Adventure Race is an annual event designed to showcase the most beautiful, interesting, and fun parts of Maine. The 3-hour race is a great introduction to the sport, geared towards families and beginners. The 3-hour event is a foot- and bike-only event with no paddling in and around Greenwood, Maine. Biking will be on paved road and dirt trail surfaces. It is family-friendly and appropriate for racers of all ages. Teams should plan to bring bikes to the event. Bike trailers and kids seats are welcome!  The 3-hour race will begin at 12:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11. Check-in and map hand-out begins at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Self-supported teams of two to four travel nonstop on an unmarked, linear course via mountain bike, foot, and sea kayak, navigating by map and compass. Adventure racing is the ultimate test of endurance, strategy, and teamwork, which is why this race is known as "The hardest day in Maine." The 8-hour race will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 11 and will end at 4 p.m. Check-in and map hand-out begins at 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Thanksgiving Day Race to Be Thankful

Greenwood, SC
Come join us for a fun 5K run/walk through the beautiful Gatewood neighborhood on Thanksgiving Day starting at 8am!  Online Registration ends Monday 11/23 at 6pm!!!! Kids under 10 are free!  Sign up early for the lower cost of $25.  We will have sign up available on race day at the start beginning at 7 am for $30. Please bring cash or check.  This race features stunning autumn views passing the peaceful ponds and magnificent woods of Gatewood subdivision.  The course is paved and rolling in terrain with minimal traffic. All abilities and ages are welcome. Prizes will be given to the overall male and female runners, overall masters male and female winner and to age group winners in 10 year increments. We offer terrific post race goodies for breakfast including homemade pumpkin bread, hot coffee and hot chocolate.  Registration can be with or without a t shirt, but sign up by November 9th at 6pm to order a shirt! We may have a few additional ones for sale on race day, but no guarantees.
