On-site registration will be from 7:30am - 8:15am The walk/run will begin outside the Student Activity & Academic Center and run through Lullwater Park. The run is hosted by Emory Recreation & Wellness and the Emory Alumni Association. Prizes will be awarded to male and female winners in 5 age groups (21 and under, 22-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up). Water station and light refreshments will be available.

The Valley and Victory 14 Hour Ultra Marathon is a powerful test of endurance with a purpose. 50th Annual Turkey Trot - Fairview Park Decatur, IL 9 a.m., November 22ndEnter the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or 1/2 mile Turkey Tot Trot in Fairview Park! 3M Decatur is proud to host its 12th Annual Turkey Trot of Morgan County on Thanksgiving morning in Downtown Decatur! People of all ages are encouraged to participate in the 5K event, the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk! This event benefits the United Way of Morgan County, and all proceeds will go to this organization. We hope you'll come out on Thanksgiving morning to visit with friends and family in town for the holiday, burn some calories to make some room for the Thanksgiving feast, and support an organization making a difference in our community! Registration costs are $30 for the 5K event, $25 for the 1-mile event.  All prices will increase by $5 on November 3, 2025. THANKSGIVING MORNING Starting line: Decatur Main Street 1 mile begins at 8am and 5K begins at 8:30am Adults are $30 and children (under 12) are $20 for the 5k and adults are $20 and children (under 12) are $15 for the one mile ALL Registrations received after November 10th at midnight are $30 ($20 for 12 & under) and there is no guaranteed t-shirt with late registration!! We will only be ordering a limited amount of extra t-shirts so please make sure you get your registration in on time. This is a fun run/walk that will follows most of the parade route. It is not timed, just bragging rights. SOME ROADS WILL BE CLOSED. But always pay attention. Race Information Decatur's first ever marathon, and on a micro-marathon course!  We are excited to host the first full distance marathon on a course that is fast and USATF certified.  We will also host a 10K and 5K event on the same day on flat, fast race courses.  All net proceeds from this event go to the Decatur High School Track and Field team to support their upcoming race season. Join us for our 11th annual Carnival Frolic 13.1-mile race taking you through our acclaimed historic districts, along the Tennessee River, and through Point Mallard Park. Please join DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston for the 12th Annual Love Run 5K, in commemoration of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. All proceeds benefit the Women's Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.  This in-person event is an official Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Each registered runner or walker will receive a signature long-sleeved shirt and race medal. In-person bib and t-shirt pickup will take place on Friday, February 26th, 2027, from 10:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., at Big Peach Running Co. Join us for the Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard Park on July 11th, 2026 at 7:00 AM.  This year will launch a new era for Wet Dog as it becomes a Team Rocket Tri Club managed race.  Long time Race Director Leah Brown will still be very involved as we work together to make Wet Dog the very best open water sprint triathlon in North Alabama.  Wet Dog Triathlon at Point Mallard is a 400 meter open water swim, followed by a 15k bike ride and a 5k run along the beautiful (and FLAT) banks of the Tennessee River at Decatur, Alabama. Wet Dog is a fundraiser for Tennessee Valley Outreach, Morgan County Rescue Squad, and Princess Theater.  Wet Dog at Point Mallard is the second of three races that make up the Summer Sprint Series.  Heel & Crank Duathlon and the Huntsville Sprint Triathlon are the remaining event in the series.  Each participant who finishes will receive a series water bottle at no extra charge.  Race photos will be by We Run Race Photography.
