ORRRC Sugar Valley 10 Mile Trail Race

RACE TIME: starts at 9 am  WHERE: Forest Field Park, 2100 Centerville Station RD, Centerville, OH 45458 PARKING: Park in the big parking lot, registration will be in the pavilion COURSE INFORMATION Two five mile loops through Forest Field and Bill Yeck Parks. Helping Our Families In-Stride 5k

Helping Our Families, a non-profit organization created with the mission of improving the quality of life of families, proudly presents the 2025 In-Stride 5K.   In 2024, 19 families were assisted through emergency fund services that allowed them to either stay in their homes versus being evicted or in many cases buy groceries; 40 Dayton Public School students were registered at our Grandview Learning Lab to receive afterschool tutoring; and 169 mothers and children received Christmas gifts who would otherwise have nothing.   All proceeds will go towards our mission of serving single mothers and their children, providing resources, support and hope by helping to remove barriers that prevent families from succeeding in the Greater Dayton area.   Register by April 12, and you will receive a t-shirt with your entry and save $5.     Donations also accepted and appreciated.

Come join us on Saturday, May 9th 2026 for Just a Pair of Shoes' 4th Annual 5K run or walk to spread awareness and raise money for kids in the Dayton area.  Runner check in and day-of registration will begin at 9:30AM and conclude at 10:45AM. The check-in will be inside Southern Ohio Brewery. 100% of race proceeds will impact kids in the local area. The course is on the Beavercreek bike path. Harbor of Heroes 5K: Unsinkable Spirit Run

Please join us for the Harbor of Heroes 5K: Unsinkable Spirit Run--a beautiful XC style trail run through the scenic property of Cole's Family Farm in Dayton. ORRRC Possum Creek 5k Trail Race

RACE START TIME: 7 p.m. PARKING: Possum Creek Metropark Reservable Shelter area. Start at Sycamore Shelter (4730 Frytown Road Dayton, Ohio). Please use Parking lots. NO PARKING ON THE GRASS. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible. Additional parking will be available in the main park at the Pond Parking lot with a 1/2 mile walk to the start/finish line. COURSE: You will be running on various terrain surfaces (dirt, gravel, meadow, grass) with no water crossings. This is a great introduction to trail running with a very low elevation gain/loss. National Rd., Englewood, OH 45322 PARKING:  From either east or west, take I-70 to the State Route 48 exit and head north on Route 48 into Englewood.  DO NOT CROSS DAM. Race is on the west side of the park! Use entrance ER-5 at the intersection of National Road (US 40) and Main Street (US 48) in downtown Englewood.   Follow the park road to the parking lot. Dayton Physicians Foundation for Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps provide non-medical, financial assistance to patients undergoing cancer treatment in the communities we serve to allow them to focus on fighting cancer and recovery.   Cancer patients can receive assistance from the Foundation for their non-medical bills, such as overdue rent/mortgage payments, utility bills, transportation to and from treatment appointments and meals for them and their families. 14th Annual 5K for Kelli Presented by the Breast Wishes Foundation Saturday, August 15th at 9am.  Join us in remembering the life of Kelli James and honoring all the breast cancer survivors, the fighters and the loved ones we’ve lost. 100% of proceeds go to granting wishes for women with breast cancer through the Breast Wishes Foundation. The 5k for Kelli Run/Walk is a super fun event for the whole family. It is a 3.1 mile out and back course that begins and ends next to Wegerzyn Gardens and winds along the beautiful Stillwater River. Because Kelli loved fairies, we encourage everyone to dress up in tutus, wings, and flower crowns. No fairy gear? No problem! We have everything you need at the merchandise tent with all proceeds going to Breast Wishes Foundation. We also offer free fairy face painting and colored hair spraying! RACE START TIME: 6:30 p.m. WHERE: DeWeese Park, 2600 DeWeese Parkway, Dayton, OH 45414. PARKING: Park in the large gravel parking lot at the entrance of Triangle Park at the corner of Ridge Ave. and DeWeese Parkway. COURSE: This is a beautiful flat 5k (3.1 mile) course on paved recreation paths that loops through 3 scenic Dayton parks (DeWeese Park, Triangle Park, and Island MetroPark) along the banks of the Stillwater and Great Miami Rivers. Join us for the third annual Anderson 5K Run/Walk!  This event was created to raise money for the Kayla Anderson Scholarship Fund that provides scholarship awards to graduating Vandalia Butler High School seniors.Sarah and Kayla Anderson, along with two other neighbors, were tragically and senselessly killed in their Butler Township homes on 8/5/22. This event rocked the entire community. Shortly after, support came in from all over the city and surrounding communities and the Kayla Anderson Scholarship Fund was created. The University of Dayton Department of Health and Sport Science annual Thomas J. Frericks 5K event is set for 2026! The event will take place on UD's campus over Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 26th. The race will begin in front of the RecPlex at 10:00am. Proceeds of the Thomas J. Frericks 5K will benefit the Department of Health and Sport Science and Phi Epsilon Kappa.    The cost for the in-person 5K event is $30. Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by Sept 1.
