Together, we’ll remember Bree, raise awareness about organ donation and continue spreading her joyful, generous spirit—one mile and one memory at a time. Why We Run Bree dreamed of becoming a teacher and had a heart for children, books and helping others. Her bright personality, contagious smile and legendary energy made every room a little happier. After an equine accident, Bree passed away on July 8, 2022. Through organ donation, she gave others the gift of life. Her story continues to inspire people to register as organ donors, serve their communities and make a difference wherever they can. .The Street Dog Dash 5k is a registered 501c(3) non-profit annual charity 5k event raising funds for local and international animal rescue organizations. Taking place in the scenic riverfront Etowah River Park in North Canton, GA each April, this Peachtree Road Race qualifying event is family friendly - dogs included! RACEDAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL 8:45AM ON RACE MORNING VIA QR CODE FOR $40.00. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ONLY.  All proceeds from the event are distributed to local animal rescue partners as well as dedicated international partners who work to end the suffering of animals in the Asian dog meat trade industry. The Cancer Sucks 5K begins and ends at Etowah River Park in Canton, GA at 2:00pm. The entire course is on the beautiful greenway along the Etowah River. Runners and Walkers start together at 2:00pm. Our 5K runners will receive a Runner's BIB with timing chip and will be able to view their results on RunSignup. All runners registered before September 6th will receive a free race t-shirt. Our 5K walkers will receive a race BIB but are not timed, and results will not be available. If you would prefer to have a timed race please feel free to register as a runner, but walk. All walkers registered before September 6th at 12:00pm will receive a free race t-shirt.
