.The Street Dog Dash 5k is a registered 501c(3) non-profit annual charity 5k event raising funds for local and international animal rescue organizations. Taking place in the scenic riverfront Etowah River Park in North Canton, GA each April, this Peachtree Road Race qualifying event is family friendly - dogs included! RACEDAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL 8:45AM ON RACE MORNING VIA QR CODE FOR $40.00. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ONLY.  All proceeds from the event are distributed to local animal rescue partners as well as dedicated international partners who work to end the suffering of animals in the Asian dog meat trade industry. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Join us for our FOURTH annual “Keyed Up 5k” walk/run on FRIDAY, April 24th, at 8pm, sponsored by the Vocal Patrons Association at GlenOak High School! Our 5k is a relaxed evening event and walkers, joggers, and runners of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us! The 2026 edition features a return of last year’s popular "GLOW MODE", powered by neon, loud colors, and your own energy and style as you run, walk, or crawl along the course starting and ending at GlenOak stadium. Back this year is the "fun run" for kids 12 and under who aren't ready to walk or run through the 5k! This year we are moving away from timing all runners, and focusing on moving, music, and celebrating our choral arts programs together.  The top 3 men and top 3 women runners will have recorded times and receive trophies, and all other participants will note their own times as they cross the finish line and join the celebration! The 3rd annual CPL Bookin' It 5K is set for April 26, 2026! Get out of your reading chairs and join friends, neighbors and fellow readers by trading books for sneakers. Help raise funds for the Canton Public Library!

The SUNY Canton Men's Hockey and Women's Soccer are hosting a 5K Walk and Run to raise money for the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center in Ogdensburg, New York and the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York. Proceeds from registration will be split between the Men's Hockey and Women's Soccer programs, and all donations afterwards will be split between both Cancer Centers.   For the day of we ask all participants to bring a picture(s) of the people you are running/walking for! Also feel free to write a memory on the back! We will have a board to clip them up on!!

The SJ5K is a benefit run hosted by high school students at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park to honor and support local families in crisis. Each year, the event’s purpose is to bring the community together to provide hope, support, and financial relief for families facing illness, medical emergencies, or other life-altering situations, all while developing student leadership.Over the past fourteen years, the SJ5K has been able to support over 70 local families. Join us on Saturday, May 16 for our 8th annual Trillium Spring 5K! We’re proud to be partnering with Girls on the Run Greater Boston (GOTRGB) and bringing together a global community for our most exciting race to date. With over 500 in person runners and hundreds of virtual participants, we invite you all to join us in supporting an incredibly important cause.

Benefits: All proceeds will go to the Canton Child Study Club, an organization of local mothers and women invested in youth. They strive to connect children, families, and the church through a variety of community service projects and events. These include our community's annual Easter egg hunt, grants for local teachers, scholarships for graduating seniors, and free events for families.  Fun: This event coincides with the Annual Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo, the state's oldest and biggest fishing tournament. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Come Join the 5th Annual Sancta Clara Nun Run! October 18, 2025 The 5K will run through the neighboring streets, the Middlebranch trail and finally through the monastery grounds with many cheering nuns! The awards ceremony with refreshments and food will follow at St. George's reception hall. The Canton RUCK RUN 5K is more than a race — it’s a community-driven movement built to honor service, support local veterans, and bring people together with purpose. Whether you ruck, run, or walk, every step you take helps strengthen the lives of those who served our country and the organizations that support them right here in our community. In our inaugural year, this event sold out in just 100 days, raised $4,000 for local veterans’ service organizations, and rallied volunteers to adopt 30 local veterans’ families during the holidays — filling Christmas tree tags and collecting food and toys for the SAM Center.Year Two is about building on that momentum. Come join the Perry Twp. Rotarians and the Perry Community on Thanksgiving Morning for our 30h Annual Perry Twp.
