The Run Hard Running Team is an eight week program for Elementary and Middle Schoolers that builds confidence in kids through character value and run training. During the season, students will meet twice a week for 1 1/2 hours with a focus on endurance training and the Run Hard Core Values. Practice days for individual schools vary per location.

The Tri My Best Triathlon is an adaptive swim, bike and run event hosted by Tri My Best, a local nonprofit supporting the special needs community. At this event you will find adaptive bikes made to support individuals with varying disabilities, a therapeutic pool experience with swim instructors and a space to run, walk or ride. We have a team of volunteers who are eager to assist, cheer and encourage your athlete through every step! The Trellis 10K is a neighborhood road race hosted by Trellis Coffee Bar and Bolt Run Co., designed to bring runners and local businesses together in celebration of Augusta’s vibrant community. This event is more than just a race — it’s a chance to move with purpose alongside friends, neighbors, and fellow runners. Proceeds from the Trellis 10K benefit Bridge Builder Communities, a nonprofit building tiny homes for adults exiting foster care just blocks from Trellis. Every mile supports safe housing, stability, and opportunity for young adults transitioning into independence. The Force Run is a virtual 5K held in loving memory of Kyree Samuel Abraham, a joyful, courageous child who bravely battled cancer. His light, laughter, and faith continue to inspire everyone who knew him. This event honors his legacy by supporting the place that cared for him with extraordinary compassion — the Medical College of Georgia. All proceeds from this race will be donated directly to MCG to support pediatric care, research, and the families who walk similar journeys. We run to remember. We run to celebrate. The Augusta Sports Council is proud to be the local host organization for the Augusta Half Marathon, 10K & 5K! The 19th annual event serves as the non-profit's primary fundraising event for their annual G.A.M.E.S. Scholarship fund which is awarded to selected graduating high school student athletes each May. The ASC is a 501c(3) organization focuses on enriching the quality of life and economic well-being for the Augusta metropolitan area by supporting and attracting sporting activities.  Established in 1991 by a group of sports-minded volunteers with a goal of recruiting sporting events to the community, the ASC has created, recruited, or supported over 800 events in the Augusta community which include the '96 Olympic Box-offs, '99 and '02 Georgia Games Championships, Nike EYBL Peach Jam Basketball, USA Cycling Championships, and the IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta. The 20th Annual Heart & Sole 5k will be Saturday, March 6, 2027 in downtown Augusta, Georgia. The course will start and end at The Children's Hospital of Georgia, where numerous medical miracles take place every day.

Run or walk in Augusta’s most scenic race. Voted "Best 5K in Augusta" 3 Bridges 5K is a gorgeous run on the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area’s River Levee Trail. This scenic course is a paved out-and-back, crossing three bridges along the Savannah River and the Augusta canal, with start/finish at the Lake Olmstead Trailhead. 3 Bridges 10K follows the 5K course for the first 3 miles, then continues along the canal path out past the pump station before it returns to Lake Olmstead Trailhead.  3 Bridges makes a cash donation to the Augusta Canal National Heritage Area to help maintain and improve trails.  Virtual Options: Run anywhere anytime, or run the course at a time of your choosing. Virtual participants can upload their times from March 2nd to March 10th, but they will not be included in awards. All virtual packets will be mailed out on March 4th.
