Clover Glove has a long tradition of celebrating holidays. Celebrating your birthday, we ask you to run/walk a 4K+ on your special day. The distance you travel will be determined by your age. All participants should run a virtual 4K and add distance based on age, at the location of your choice. For example, if you are 72, you run a 4.72K. If you are 34, you run a 4.34K. Older folks will have to use our experience and travel a little further. The Birthday 4K+ may be run anywhere. Submit time via Run Signup, per usual.  Understanding that each runner will place first, all participants submitting results will be rewarded 10 Clover Glove points and receive credit for a race completed.  The entry fee is $19.04 (the birthday of Georgia 4-H). Of course, you can donate to 4-H since it’s your birthday as well. This race is included for those paying an annual membership.

4Ks 4 4-H on the 4th 12 Races in 2026 A Clover Glove Miniseries Walk or run a 4K (2.48 miles) for 4-H on the 4th day of each month in 2026 (444 Races). The registration fee is $4 per race or $44.00 for all 12.   All participants completing all 12 races will receive a 4-H neck medallion. Special awards will be mailed after December 4, 2026, to Overall, Youth (01-19), Betweens (20-39), Master, Grandmaster, Senior Grandmaster and Septuagenarian male & female winners based on the lowest cumulative times. Scholarships will be awarded to the 4-H Programs of the top two counties who have the most participants. All runners/walkers doing all 12 races will receive a medal and a shirt.  Register whenever you wish. Join us for a brand new race on the Firefly Trail in Athens.  The Trailblazer 5K starts before the 2026 Ticket to Ride event in Dudley Park. This race will benefit children's programming at the Heard Park Community Center, in the East Athens neighborhood.

St Joe's Jog benefits the students of St. Joseph Catholic Parish School.  The race offers an In Person 5K, and In Person Fun Run and a Virtual 5K.

Come out and support the UGA Multicultural Greek Council 5K. All participants are encouraged to dress up representing their Nationality/Ethnicity, or even run wearing their flag while supporting the kids! Proceeds from this event will benefit MGC's philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club of Athens. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Athens has provided a clean, healthy, and safe environment for youth ages 6 to 18 for over 50 years. The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 5th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy. All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.  We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.

Join us to run for those who are running the road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The Run for Recovery 5K supports the 24th Street Clubhouse - the heart of recovery in the Athens area. More than 30 12-step groups meet here each week. By entering our race, you will ensure that  this safe space remains available to those who need support. Donations are also gladly accepted. Awards for age groups, snacks and hydration will be available.

Join Fleet Feet Athens/ Oconee and the Athens Road Runners to celebrate Global Running Day with THE BIG RUN! We will run from Athentic Brewing on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:30pm, with both 1 mile and 3 mile route options. Bring the whole family to run and celebrate afterwards with food, drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic available!) from Athentic, lots of fun activities for the kids, and raffle prizes! Step Up & Support 4-H Unlimited Mileage Counts as 15K (Triple Points) September 13-19 Process: Walk or run anywhere at any pace to accumulate steps during a weeklong challenge. Make a note of daily totals. All participants must have a minimum of 18,600 steps (approximating a 15K) to be awarded race points based on placing in age group. Placing is based on the total number of steps (at least 18,600) in the seven days (12:01 am 9/13- 11:59 pm 9/19).  Speed does not matter. Steps accrued while running other races are allowed. No points awarded for a weekly total of fewer than 18,600 steps.  Awards: All registered runners (submitting at least 18,600 steps) will receive a pair of 4-H socks. The socks are brand new and come from a limited-edition batch. Unlike our famous gloves, participants get both socks. The AthHalf packs all that Athens has to offer into exciting half marathon and 5K courses! The half marathon course includes a run through Athens’ historic districts, downtown, and the UGA campus, with local Athens bands performing live throughout the course. The 5K course explores downtown Athens and the Boulevard neighborhood with a live band at the start and finish line to help you celebrate your accomplishment. Athens residents come out in force to cheer on and entertain runners along the way, adding to the fun energy of these popular events. The AthHalf is produced annually by the nonprofit organization, AthFest Educates, and race proceeds support our mission of funding high-quality music and arts education programming for local K – 12 youth.
