Join AccessPoint at UGA on Sunday, November 1, 2026, for an inclusive Run/Walk/Roll 5K at Pavilion #1 in Sandy Creek Park! Check-in and on-site registration will open at 9:00 a.m., followed by opening remarks and the race start between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Participants of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels are invited to run, walk, or roll along Sandy Creek Park’s accessible route as we bring the UGA and Athens communities together to raise awareness of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a debilitating chronic pain condition. Join us at "Ohio's Longest Continuously Run Marathon" - 2026 will be the 59th year! Our Half marathon has run for 33 years.  Start corner of South College Street and East Union Street on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 8:00 AM.  Both races will be on the scenic Hockhocking Adena Bikeway which is fast and flat, before finishing on Ohio University's track at Pruitt Field. Both courses are USATF certified and well-marked; the Full Marathon is a Boston Qualifier Race!

Join us to run for those who are running the road to recovery from alcoholism and addiction. The Run for Recovery 5K supports the 24th Street Clubhouse - the heart of recovery in the Athens area. More than 30 12-step groups meet here each week. By entering our race, you will ensure that  this safe space remains available to those who need support. Donations are also gladly accepted. Awards for age groups, snacks and hydration will be available.
