Ville to Ville Relay

The 2026 Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay is Sold Out. Interested participants should join our email list for info on future races or check out the Ville to Ville Coastal Relay or the Ville to Ville Sprint Relay. Looking to join a team? Check out our online Google form, where you can connect with teams looking for runners.  The Ville to Ville Relay celebrates the beautiful region from Asheville, NC, to Greenville, SC. It is a 72-mile team-running event that travels from the peaks to the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, through local craft breweries, and into quaint southern towns.  The 9th Annual event will be held on April 11, 2026. The first flight of teams will start the relay around 5:00 am in Asheville, NC. Over the next few hours, additional teams will depart on their journey through the Carolinas. Woodfin 5K

The 9th Annual Woodfin 5K will start Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Your Registration and Donations will make a real difference for the children we are educating at our terrific neighborhood school, Woodfin Elementary. Biltmore Kiwanis Classic

Join us for the 26th running of the Biltmore Classic. Choose from the 5k or 15k distances.  This race deserves to be on every runners bucket-list and will indeed be on every runners “best race” list. Nestled in the blue ridge mountains, the Biltmore Estate was built for George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895 and holds the record of being the largest privately owned house in the United States. The Biltmore-Kiwanis Classic 15k and 5k races have been running on the estate since 1997 and act as the biggest fundraiser for Asheville’s Kiwanis Club.

Let Your Light Shine 5K

The Let Your Light Shine 5K is a fundraising walk or run and for the first time will be held on a Saturday morning. It will be timed by Finish Well Timing. This will be Western Carolina Rescue Ministries' 8th annual 5k race to raise funds and spread awareness of the ministry’s community impact. This event will take place on Saturday August 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Asheville’s Carrier Park, and all proceeds from this event will directly benefit WCRM. As we embark on another year of service and outreach, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. This year, we want to include you in playing an even greater role in our ministry. Asheville Half Marathon & 10K/5K

One of the greatest destination half marathons in North Carolina!  Asheville is truly an American treasure and a running destination with great shopping and world-class beer, arts, and dining. Runners will want to sample the many unique breweries, bars and clubs that the city has to offer! Asheville is one of America's most picturesque cities with beautiful homes, mountains and attractions bordering the Blue Ridge Parkway!  The 13th Annual Asheville Half Marathon - 10k - 5K  begins and ends in Pack Square on August 29, 2026. Starting at 7AM, this course covers some of the best parts of Asheville.  It runs through the Brewery District, then tours the Arts District, and then follows the French Broad River as you head up north to Beaver Lake.  After Beaver Lake you will head past the Grove Park Country Club, then towards Weaver Park, and next to UNCA campus.  Runners will then take Broadway Street back to downtown. Blue Ridge Relay

Thank YOU 2025 Runners! Hope to see you in 2026...as we begin the 3rd decade of running the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains! September 11-12, 2026 (Fri. - Sat.) The Blue Ridge Relay (BRR), which is one of the longest running relay races in the United States, takes place in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. BRR consists of maximum 12 person (4 person minimum) teams that rotate through 36 transition areas as they cover the approximate 208 mile distance of the race. The Start!  BRR starts in Grayson Highlands State Park, VA at an elevation of 4920′, near the base of Mount Rogers (5729′), the highest peak in Virginia. The Highlands’ defining feature are the high elevation balds that are spotted with stands of native Fraser Fir, boulder fields and a herd of wild ponies.  In addition, the Highlands feature the Appalachian Trail and the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 25 from 3pm until 6pm, at TBD. Race day registration is available. Keep in mind shirts aren't guaranteed during late registration. If not registered by November 1, shirts are not guaranteed. Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St. in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park. Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/PETS are allowed.
