Our Homecoming Kickoff is a fun-filled COLOR RUN that celebrates Warhorse pride while bringing together students and families from across our feeder system. Guests will enjoy an exciting atmosphere featuring music, entertainment, games, school spirit activities, food, and much more as we officially launch the 2026 Homecoming season. We would be honored to have your students and families join us for this special celebration and help us kick off an unforgettable Homecoming Week!

Grace Race 10K, 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run Lace up your shoes, grab your family and friends, and get ready to kick off the race season with the Grace Race! Whether you're a serious runner chasing a new personal best, a casual walker enjoying a morning with friends, or simply looking for a fun family outing, there is a place for everyone at the Grace Race! Choose your challenge with the 10K, 5K, or 1-Mile Fun Run—then stick around because the fun doesn't stop when you cross the finish line! This exciting school and community event is all about fitness, family, fellowship, and FUN, with activities for kids, great food, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to cheer each other on. Proceeds from the Grace Race will benefit Grace Christian School, making every step you take a step toward supporting our students and school community. September 24, 2026, is the last day to guarantee shirt orders with race registration. Packet pick-up will be from 3:00–5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 9, in the school gym. This will also be the staging area for the race. The gym area is off of Calais Circle/Versailles Blvd., one block past the school and to the right. Registration on race day will begin at 6:30 a.m. and stop at 7:30 a.m. And when you're finished running—or if running isn't your thing—the fun continues inside the gym! Kids of all ages can enjoy our Grace Race Carnival from 8:30–10:30 a.m., with games, activities, and fun for the whole family. Grab some delicious Jambalaya from the concessions, cheer on the runners, and enjoy the excitement of race day! The Grace Race will begin at 8am for the 10K and 5K, which features a flat course through Charles Park and along Versailles, making it a great route for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. GCS reserves the right to make changes to the route. The 1-Mile Fun Run will follow a shorter portion of this route. Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group, male and female. Official race timing with a chip system will be provided by Greg Daniels. Results will be posted on race day immediately following the race. Come for the race. Stay for the fun. Event Schedule: Online Registration will stay open until the race starts, or you can still register in person at packet pickup or the morning of the race! Wednesday, November 25, 2026 12:00pm - 5:00pm - Packet Pickup - Calvary Baptist Church Thursday, November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving Day) 7:00am - 7:45am - Packet Pickup - Start Line 8:00am - 1 Mile Race Start 8:30am - 5K Race Start Awards Ceremony - Immediately following the 5K Race Awards given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Overall Male and Female, and for individual Age Groups in both the 5k and 1 Mile Races. (5k Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over) (1 Mile Age Groups: 5 & under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-17, 18 & over) Registrations received on or before 11:59pm on Sunday, November 15, 2025, will receive a shirt in their preferred size at packet pickup. Late and Race day registrants may receive a shirt as long as any extras in their preferred size are available, but there are no guarantees - so sign up early! Refreshments will be provided to all participants at the finish.

The Lauren Vaughn Memorial Foundation will host the LV5K walk/run on April 04, 2026, at the Alexandria Senior High School football field. This memorial walk/run is to remember and honor the life of Lauren Vaughn and others who lost their lives to impaired driving.  The money raised will go towards the Lauren Vaughn Memorial Scholarship at NSU for the Accelerated BS to BSN Program, benefiting future nurses and raising awareness about drunk and impaired driving.  Multiple options to participate: 💜 Show up in person on race day for the 1-mile or 5K. 💜 Virtual for our out-of-town friends and family who love to walk or run and want to support. 💜 Sleep In option if you want to stay in bed but still support. 🗓️ Pickup Friday, April 03, 2026, from 10:00-5:00 at Little Cakes with Big Attitude  (4120 Jackson St., Alexandria, LA 71303)             🚨 Race Day, April 04!
