In-Person Race Details The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k will take place on Saturday- May 23, 2026 at Margaret Sullivan Park on West 15th Ave. The cut off time to finish is 12:00 Noon. No personal pacer (runners without bibs) and absolutely no personal lead bikes. Virtual Race Details The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k Virtual race takes place May 14th to May 31st, 2026. Because this is a virtual race, you run it where and when you want on your choice of running course. Please follow all pedestrian safety ordinances including running on a sidewalk where available and not in the road. Follow the rules of the road if no sidewalk or multi-use trail is available and run against oncoming traffic and not with traffic. The Delta Junction Barley Half Marathon is a summer half marathon trail race hosted by the Alaska Flour Company in Delta Junction, Alaska. The course starts near the Alaska Flour Company barley mill and follows a mix of gravel roads & dirt trails around a loop through Delta's beautiful agricultural lands. There are NO paved roads! While the course is relatively flat with only a few minor hills, this is a trail race so expect uneven terrain and perhaps a few muddy spots, along with some classic Delta wind gusts that may both help and hinder your pace depending on the wind direction. Several long straightaways allow runners to focus on their paces as they pass by fields of barley and fireweed, as long as they don't get distracted by the nonstop views of the mountains! The race is open to everyone ages 10 and up. All participants aged 19 and younger on race day receive a youth discount of $15 off the full adult entry fee. Walkers are welcome! A generous time limit of 4.5 hours

In the spirit of the event, runners are encouraged to run in costume. Wear your best Zombie attire for this late season Half Marathon event on the Coastal and Chester Creek trails. The race will be held regardless of weather and trail conditions.There is no shuttle between the start and the finish. Runners are responsible for organizing a ride or shuttle on race day.To receive an official finish time, you must finish by the 1:30 pm cutoff time.
