Sewickley Classic 5K & Festival

Sewickley, PA
The Sewickley Classic 5K is a new spring tradition built around running, walking, and bringing people together in the heart of Sewickley. Taking place in May 2026, the event features a scenic, fast 5K road race through the village, along with additional run and walk options, youth activities, and a post-race community festival. Proceeds from the event benefit Laughlin Children’s Center, supporting vital programs that serve children and families throughout the region. Run it. Walk it. Celebrate it.Welcome to the Sew

Second Annual [Un]leash the Fun 5k Run and 2k Walk

Duncansville, PA
***PLEASE PARK AT THE BASEBALL FIELD BEHIND SUNBROOK MANOR. THERE WILL BE SIGNS AND PEOPLE TO HELP! THANKS!!*** Get ready to lace up for our 2nd Annual [Un]Leash the Fun! This year, we aren't just running for fitness—we’re running for Mack (the good boy in the picture). 🌈 If you knew Mack, you knew a dog who lived life to the fullest for 14 beautiful years. He was a connoisseur of extra-sharp cheese, a professional sun-soaker, and a world-class singer whenever the fire whistle blew. Whether he was cuddling a shark stuffie or enjoying his daily pup cup, Mack was the definition of "spoiled" in the best way possible. Mack’s family fought a brave battle alongside him against kidney disease—navigating special diets, IV fluids, and everything in between. While Mack eventually gained his wings, his legacy of joy and resilience stays behind. This year, every mile we clock honors Mack’s 14-year legacy and the incredible bond between a dog and his family. The Rundown: 🏃‍♂️ 5K Run & 2K Walk 📍 Location: Duncansville Memorial Park 🗓️ Date & Time: June 6, 2026 Run at 9:00, Walk at 9:10 🧀 Bonus: In honor of Mack, expect some "cheesy" surprises and plenty of pup cups! All proceeds benefit Beau's Dog Park to keep the trails wag-ready for dogs just like Mack. Let’s turn those fire-whistle howls into a finish-line cheer! See you there! 🐕✨The race will start at Duncansville Memorial Park and continue through the borough. If you are walking, please bring your pup! If you are running, please leave them with a friend so they can cheer you on from the sidelines! Last day to register and get a t-shirt is 06/02/26 so sign up today!! There will be a limited number of packets without a t-shirt on the day of the race. Medal Madness 5K, & 10K at New Cumberland, PA (23)

New Cumberland, PA
US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. View Race Course, Results, and Race Information on the US Road Running race page.

Celebrate with us at our annual Tröegs Rugged Trail Run for Conservation! We are geared up to make this another successful fundraiser supporting the Ned Smith Center's lands and trail system. The Center boasts a beautiful woodland setting with over 9 miles of trails winding through 500+ acres of land, a scenic bridge over the Wiconisco Creek, a children’s natural play area, three rotating art galleries featuring the art of Ned Smith and various national and local artists, a gift shop, and innovative educational programming for all ages. The Center is thrilled to partner with Tröegs Brewing Company for this exciting event! All proceeds will support the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. The race will begin at 5pm for the Hopback Trail and around 5:10pm for the Rugged Trail. Following the race, an after-party featuring live music, a basket raffle, food and drink, and vendors. The awards ceremony will commence around 7pm. Winners do not need to be present to receive their awards, but Raffle winners must be present to collect their baskets. While the Ned Smith Center is pet-friendly, we do not allow dogs to participate in the race. They may cheer their runner on from the finish line and enjoy the after-party. Dogs may also be spectators around the trails. This year we will feature your own photos using #TroegsRugged5K, or you can tag @TroegsBeer on X or tag the Ned Smith Center on Facebook @Ned_Smith_Center.
